Halifax is a hopping destination in the summer. Popular hotels (and not so popular ones) often book up 4-6 months in advance. Unfortunately, with such high demand, hotels are not as affordable as they once were. This season there is added pressure on accommodations because new AirBNB regulations have limited supply drastically.
For your convenience, groups of rooms have been reserved at the following four Hotels: (1) Halifax Tower Hotel, (2) the Comfort Hotel Bayer's Lake, these two hotels are located just 6 minutes from the wedding venue. Additionally, there are groups of rooms at (3) Halifax Residence Inn by Marriott, and (4) The Sutton Place Hotel Halifax, these two hotels are located in downtown Halifax approximately 20 minutes from the wedding venue. These groups have a reserved price for at least August third and fourth, and a few days before and after our wedding date as available in case you would like to extend your stay. Where more dates are listed as part of the block you do not need to book all dates in the group reservation.

RESERVATION METHOD
Individual Call-In: Reservation will be made on an Individual Call-in basis. Direct reservations must be made prior to Friday, July 5, 2024. After this date, the Hotel cannot guarantee the group rate, but will continue to accept reservations on a space available basis at the current available rate.
Changes or cancellations for individual reservations must reach the Reservations Department 48 hours prior to the arrival date to avoid a penalty charge of one nights’ room and tax.
