Mirit and Tamara met during Frosh week, they went from having dorm rooms just feet apart to being best friends sharing their first apartment. Neither has lived in the same city since, but their friendship is still going strong. Whether it’s travelling to see bands or their new babies, they’ve shared many of life’s big moments. Mirit has Tamara’s back no matter what, and Tamara can’t imagine having anyone else standing by her side as MOH on her wedding day.

Tamara and Jonnie met on a Porter flight bonding over unlimited wine. Chatting non-stop about their tiny dogs, passion for health promotion and all their common interests. Tamara knew this awesome woman had to be in her life and asked for her contact, Jonnie obliged and they've been besties ever since. The wedding day wouldn't be complete without Jonnie by Tamara's side.

Jessica is a woman of many titles, 'Marine Biologist', 'Bookkeeper,' 'soon-to-be-CPA', 'Cheer Coach Champion,' 'Mom,' 'Die Hard Swiftie.' Tamara is privileged to call her 'Sister-in-Law'. For years Jessica assured Tamara her perfect guy was waiting in Nova Scotia, she was right! With all Jessica does, Tamara is thrilled ‘Bridesmaid’ was added to the list. This special day wouldn’t be the same without her.

After meeting in law school Tamara and Sari spent lots of time together. Whether it was endless hours studying, making art, or just hanging out with Levi the dog. They motivated each other to keep up with the course load and take breaks when they needed. Tamara wouldn't have survived the 3 years without Sari, and she's thrilled to have Sari by her side on this big day.

Josh is the bride’s little brother. At 18 he followed Tamara to Halifax, about 15 years later Tamara did the same. Without Josh (and Covid), the happy couple wouldn’t have met. Tamara and Josh are as tight as siblings come, he's her biggest supporter and life-long confidant. From the moment they met, Josh was on 'Team Tom'. The bride and groom couldn't be happier having Josh stand in support on their big day.
