Hyatt Regency Bellevue

<span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">The Westin is our primary hotel recommendation.&nbsp;This hotel is located in downtown&nbsp;Bellevue and is walking distance to shopping areas (Bellevue Square)&nbsp;and&nbsp;restaurants&nbsp;(Old Town on&nbsp;Main St). &nbsp;It is conveniently&nbsp;located near the mid-point between our home,&nbsp;where we will host the welcome reception&nbsp;Friday&nbsp;&nbsp;evening,&nbsp;and JM Cellars,&nbsp;where we will host the wedding on Saturday evening. If traveling by car (e.g. Uber or taxi) please allow 10&nbsp;to&nbsp;15 minutes&nbsp;to reach&nbsp;our home,&nbsp;and 15&nbsp;to&nbsp;20 minutes to reach the wedding venue.&nbsp; &nbsp;</span>

The Westin Bellevue

Most of you are flying in for the wedding and will need to select either a rental car, Uber, or horse-drawn carriage&nbsp;for ground transportation.&nbsp;For those staying at one of the hotels in downtown Bellevue, you can expect the drive to/from the
airport to be 20 to&nbsp;30 minutes. &nbsp;(Horse-drawn carriage approximately 3 hours). &nbsp;Once at the hotel,&nbsp;you will find that most anything you need will be within walking distance.&nbsp;
<div>
    <br />
</div>
<div>We highly recommend that you consider taking an Uber to/from both the welcome reception on Friday evening and the wedding on Saturday evening. Our home, where we will host the welcome reception (please remember to rsvp online&nbsp;for this event), is
    located at the end of a small private lane with limited room for guest parking.&nbsp;The wedding venue also has limited parking available on site so we have arranged for complimentary, but required,&nbsp;valet parking.&nbsp;In addition, we expect
    you might want to enjoy a glass of wine (or a "few"!)&nbsp;given the wedding is at a winery, so stay safe and let Uber get you home.</div>
<div>
    <br />
</div>
<div>For those that have yet to discover the modern wonder that is Uber, please consult a Millenial who can teach you to install and use the app!</div>

Ground transportation

Willows Lodge is located very near&nbsp;the wedding venue&nbsp;in&nbsp;Woodinville. &nbsp;This&nbsp;is&nbsp;a good option for those planning to arrive in Washington later in the day&nbsp;on Saturday, and who therefore will&nbsp;not be attending the welcome
reception on Friday evening. &nbsp;Please note that all hotels in the&nbsp;Woodinville area, of which there are very few,&nbsp;tend to book up&nbsp;well in advance for Holiday weekends such as this one. &nbsp;If you plan to stay in Woodinville please
book immediately.

Travel

Derek, Lana, and I enjoy this part of the city because of the terrific&nbsp;restaurants.&nbsp;Our favorites&nbsp;include:
<div>
    <br />
</div>
<div>99 Park: &nbsp;The&nbsp;best cocktails and a nice patio overlooking a park. &nbsp;The short ribs are&nbsp;well worth the trip.</div>
<div>
    <br />
</div>
<div>Bis&nbsp;on Main: Old school white linens with the kind of&nbsp;top notch service and wait staff&nbsp;you only get at old school steak joints. &nbsp;Grab a glass of cab, order a steak, and wait for the food coma to roll in.</div>
<div>
    <br />
</div>
<div>Cantinetta: Go here for dessert. Fresh nutella donuts; nuff said. &nbsp;</div>
<div>
    <br />
</div>
<div>520: Sit on the patio out front, order a Stella and the steak bites appetizer, commence people watching. &nbsp;After ordering a second glass of your favorite drink, ask your significant other to hold down&nbsp;the fort while you casually walk across the
    street to partake in an assortment of fine chocolates. They're super tiny, dress-friendly portions so go ahead and try&nbsp;the samples or walk out with&nbsp;a&nbsp;custom&nbsp;box of dark chocolates! &nbsp;</div>

Oldtown Bellevue

Derek and I started doing yoga together 2 years ago. (Yup, you read that correctly). And he LOVES&nbsp;it!! (Yup, you read that correctly too). Although&nbsp;we've tried a few different studios, this is the one we frequently visit.&nbsp;
<div>
    <br />
</div>
<div>If you're feeling&nbsp;the need to eliminate&nbsp;2lbs of sweat&nbsp;to squeeze into your evening attire, feel free to join us on Saturday morning at the CP2 class. &nbsp;Find your zen and&nbsp;inner peace as you sneak a glance over and watch in amazement
    as&nbsp;Derek perfects&nbsp;his dancer's pose, shoulder stand,&nbsp;and birds of paradise. &nbsp;It's a sight you won't want to miss!!</div>
<div>
    <br />

Core Power Yoga

Just next door to the Westin and a great way to relax on Saturday afternoon while we&nbsp;do our best to get pretty enough for the wedding.&nbsp;

Lucky strike bowling

It's a mall, pretty much the same wherever you go, but this one is&nbsp;directly connected to the Westin and Hyatt hotels. &nbsp;That direct connection comes in handy if we experience&nbsp;one of those romantic rainy Seattle days. &nbsp;

Bellevue Mall

If you&nbsp;feel&nbsp;like being a true tourist for the day and want to know the best way to see and learn about Seattle we recommend this amphibious vehicle tour. &nbsp;Highlights of the tour&nbsp;include a&nbsp;floating&nbsp;drive by of the Sleepless
in Seattle&nbsp;home, stops at&nbsp;all the best city landmarks, and&nbsp;a little history lesson along the way. &nbsp;Singing loudly to YMCA and waving at random strangers&nbsp;on the street is highly&nbsp;encouraged! &nbsp;Tours begin and end near the
Space Needle and across from the Experience Music Project, both of which are worth a visit as well. &nbsp;

Seattle duck tour

Enjoy a massage, get your nails done, or&nbsp;wax whatever floats your boat. &nbsp;Be sure to&nbsp;bring a swim suit so that you can&nbsp;enjoy the excellent steam rooms, saunas, and hot/cold plunge pools. They'll loan you a swim suit if you forget yours,
but I think we can all agree that's a little weird! &nbsp;It's best to book and schedule your&nbsp;treatments (especially coupes massage) at least two weeks in advance.

Yuan Spa

What's a visit to Seattle without a trip to the&nbsp;Space Needle? &nbsp;Take the express elevator to the top and enjoy a yummy&nbsp;brunch and a&nbsp;spectacular&nbsp;360 degree view! &nbsp;Bonus if it's sunny!
