Option to fly into DIA and rent a car for a ~3 hour drive to Glenwood Springs, or travel by scenic train for ~6hr , or travel by bus for ~5-6hrs.
Fly into Grand Junction "GJ" and rent a care and drive ~1hr 20min to Glenwood. There are train and bus options as well, but requires more transfers and walking. You can use: https://www.rome2rio.com/ or google maps to see these options ranging from 3hrs+
If you have some time to enjoy the trip to or from Glenwood, we highly recommend taking the scenic train from Denver to Glenwood. You can take the light-rail from DIA to Denver's iconic Union Station and catch the Amtrak through some of the most beautiful parts of Colorado to Glenwood Springs for ~$100. The ride will take ~6hrs, but follows the Colorado River through beautiful mountain passes, scenic canyons, and avoids any traffic on I-70. The train drops you off in front of the Hotel Denver (which is a great place to stay), but a short walk or Uber ride to any other stay in Glenwood.
If you prefer to take the bus, you can take the light-rail from DIA to Denver's iconic Union Station and catch a Greyhound bus to Glenwood for ~$33. The journey takes around 5-6 hrs on I-70 over Vail pass and through Glenwood canyon.
Both GJ airport and DIA will have car rentals onsite, which is the fastest and most direct route to Glenwood from the airports. If you plan to do any extra traveling before or after the wedding (especially if you want to see some awesome off-road mountain passes we recommend renting an AWD/4WD car).
