Our Story

March 2019 - Tyler starts his new job at Accrotool as a welder.

May 2022 - Tessa starts her new job at Accrotool as a Quality Engineer/Inspector.

December 2023 - Tessa almost kills Tyler during an inspection, oooops.Tyler was crossing the aisleway as Tessa was turning to place parts on a pallet. As she turns, she almost hits him square in the chest. He tells her she should have so he could go home for the day.

December 2023 - Tyler asks Tessa out on a date. He mentions he likes coffee and has a pet cat, Max. Tessa is allergic to coffee and cats, yikesss. She gently turns him down.

January 2024 - Tyler sends Tessa a sweet message for New Year's Eve. They begin talking more at work and via text. Tyler doesn't give up hope, he sees something special in this girl and doesn't want to let her go.

March 15, 2024 - Tyler and Tessa have their first date, but she refuses to call it that. They visit a museum downtown and attend the Pittsburgh Home &amp; Garden Show. She finally gets to meet his cat (no sneezing, huh that's a miracle) and they stay up way too late talking about everything under the sun.

May 2024 - Tessa realizes she's beginning to love Tyler more and more and officially agrees to "date" him. He thinks she's silly because they've been dating since March. He knew from that first date that she was the one.

February 2025 - The two families meet each other for the first time for Tyler's birthday. Tessa's sister makes a banging ice cream cake that his family still talks about to this day.

May 29, 2025 - Tyler asks Tessa to marry him.He knows she's having a bad day and invites her over, luring her with pizza rolls. She shows up in pjs and is happily munching away when he pretends he needs something from his lunchbox. Inside is his grandmother's ring. Cue "the question" and lots of excitement and tears. Annnnnd family panic because Tyler turns into a pumpkin after 9pm and a phone call means something is wrong.

March 14, 2026 - Wedding day! We are so excited to have you as part of our story. You mean so much to us and we're thankful for your support and encouragement!
