Our Wedding

In 2015, I&nbsp;messaged Brian on Bumble, a dating app that requires women to reach out first.&nbsp;I led with class and&nbsp;asked him what bars he liked in&nbsp;our neighborhood. He happened to be in one at the time, and he loved the dog in my photo&nbsp;-- it was meant to be.&nbsp; On May 5th, 2018, Brian rearranged the&nbsp;furniture in our apartment to make a path with rose petals leading to a photo book of our many happy moments together. He proposed in our favorite spot,&nbsp;and had our families waiting nearby to celebrate. We still can't stop smiling.&nbsp; We're so thankful for Bumble and Blitz (the sweetest pup) for bringing us together, and to our family and friends for sharing in our joy!

We are so excited to be getting married at the Mystic Marriott! The hotel is a short ride from downtown Mystic, CT, where there's a ton to do. The hotel has a shuttle to downtown and the Seaport, and there are plenty of Ubers in the area for those taking the train out.&nbsp; You may want to think about coming out for the weekend - we'll be there, and ready to party! And there are rooms blocked at a special rate for both Saturday and Sunday nights. We could only block a limited number of rooms, so we invite you to book early to get the reserved price – you don’t pay until you check out.&nbsp; Click below to reserve!

Getting to Mystic

By Train

Mystic is a train ride away from NYC, or anywhere on an&nbsp;Amtrak Line.&nbsp;You can take Amtrak directly to Mystic, or to New&nbsp;London, where trains run more frequently.&nbsp;

There is also a slightly longer, &nbsp;more economical route from NYC&nbsp;by taking Metro North from Grand Central&nbsp;to New Haven and transferring to the Shore Line East, which runs to New London.&nbsp;



The hotel offers a shuttle for $5 -- if you call ahead, they can arrange to pick you up at either train station
