In 2015, I messaged Brian on Bumble, a dating app that requires women to reach out first. I led with class and asked him what bars he liked in our neighborhood. He happened to be in one at the time, and he loved the dog in my photo -- it was meant to be.

On May 5th, 2018, Brian rearranged the furniture in our apartment to make a path with rose petals leading to a photo book of our many happy moments together. He proposed in our favorite spot, and had our families waiting nearby to celebrate. We still can't stop smiling.
