Airport
The nearest international airport is the BZE in Belize City (Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport). From there, San Ignacio is a 1 hr 45 min drive.
Transportation from the BZE airport to San Ignacio
There are several options for how to make this trip:
Shuttle: We will arrange some shuttles between the BZE airport and San Ignacio on April 9, 10 & 11 and back again on April 14.
If you plan to use this option, please either:
1. Enter your flight info in this GoogleSheet; OR
2. Text your flight info to Kendall (517-526-3612) or Gabbi (517-526-2474).
As we get closer to the date and have a better idea of when everyone's flights are getting in, we'll share more details on the shuttle departure times.
FOR GUEST STAYING AT CAHAL PECH VILLAGE RESORT: The hotel offers transfers to/from the airpot or anywhere in Belize. If you are staying here and want to organize your own shuttle directly with the hotel, go for it :)
Car Rental: If you'd like to have your own transportation during your trip, there are also car rental options at the BEZ airport (Hertz, Budget, etc).
Taxi: If you're looking for the most convenience, there is always an option to just grab a taxi at the airport and have them take you all the way to San Ignacio. We've heard that the cost starts at around $100.
Lodging: San Ignacio
We've invited our close family and friends to stay with us at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel. However, as our guest list surpasses the capacity of the venue with its 27 rooms, we've also curated additional accommodation options - we've listed them below. In addition to these, there are plenty of AirBnB's in the area that would also be great options.
Cahal Pech Village Resort
This will be our secondary party hotel (after the San Ignacio Resort Hotel) and we will also hold the rehearsal dinner here, in which everyone is invited. It has an excellent view with multiple pools. And plus, they have great rates. We highly recommend :)
RESERVATIONS: A block of rooms have been reserved for the Tricia and Nate Wedding with a 20% discount. When calling to make a reservation, ask for Lenny and mention the Block Code: Hollie/09/04/Lenny. The block will be held until March 9, 2025. A daily breakfast can be added to your stay for $12.00 US + tax per person daily.
They also offer transfer services from San Pedro Int’l Airport and any Location in Belize to and from the hotel.

The Lodge at Chaa Creek
A little on the pricey side, but this 4-star hotel resort - with villas and cottages - is very luxurious.
About 20 minutes south of the wedding hotel.
Lodging: San Pedro
We've invited our close family and friends to stay with us on a small peninsula of San Pedro that includes the Brahma Blue Resort and a few villas. Since the turnout for the San Pedro part of our trip is shaping up to be much larger than expected, we are now we are now directing all others to stay on main San Pedro.
On the main island, there are lots of hotel and AirBnB / VBRO options, access to grocery stores, restaurants, and of course, excellent ocean views.
It is a 5-10 minute water taxi ride from main San Pedro to the peninsula and everyone is certainly welcome to come to the villas/Brahma to hang out, play beach volleyball, meet up for scuba diving, etc. We will also be having a pool party and catered dinner at the Brahma on 4/17 to bring everyone together another time.
