Unfortunately, due to space limitations, we simply can't have all our lovely guests bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully request that our guests do not bring a plus one unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding.

There will be a supply of water, soda, juice, wine, signature drinks, canned beer, and seltzers available all night (as long as the supplies last).

Boondocks Bar, Brews & Burgers is catering our wedding. We will have a buffet-style dinner, pulled pork, brisket, and a bunch of sides that are very fitting for a barn wedding over Labor Day weekend! Come hungry! Boondock's is DELICIOUS! :P

Plan on arriving 15 minutes or so before the official ceremony starts time so you can get settled before the proceedings.

Semi-formal and dressy casual clothing will be perfect! Our venue has a lot of outdoor activities/games (on grass) and there will be a bonfire so plan accordingly to the weather.

There is a huge parking lot right when you pull into the venue. From the parking lot, there is a nicely labeled and paved path to the barn.

While we can't predict the exact forecast for our special day, the average high temperature in September for Wisconsin ranges between 60 and 74 degrees. Lows typically range from 55 to 65.

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures onto their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #hendersons9123 or tag Peter & Val so we can keep track of all of your pictures! However during the ceremony please allow our AWESOME photographers and videographers to do all the work! :)

No! We are doing things our way and the last thing we want is unkind comments because it’s not the way it’s “usually done”… this is the happiest time of our lives and we are so thrilled you are going to be a part of it! One of the coolest things that we have discovered about getting married in 2023 is that there are SO many options! Many of the options that we are picking may not exactly align with the “traditional” route of weddings. But that’s what makes it fun and exciting, right?! Our goal is that everyone can have a fun time, spend time with loved ones, meet some new people, eat good food, drink good drinks, and can sing and dance until we can’t anymore…. all in hopes to celebrate our love and the existing love from our families and friends! :)
