There are many rentals in our beach town (Airbnb and VRBO). Please be mindful that they book up early. The accommodations we list below are the ones we know personally.
Accommodations
The Plaza Bed and Breakfast
September is still high season; so they have a 2-night minimum. They have 5 rooms with private baths in the main house, breakfast included, heated pool. They have 2 additional cottages that can accommodate 2 or more and breakfast is an option.

Riverview Inn
This motel has been fully renovated recently. It’s downtown close to restaurants and a couple boutiques, as well as walking distance to the beach and our wedding venue. Mention Albert and Veronica for a 10% discount.
Golf Carts
Colonial Beach is a fun golf cart town. You'll see golf carts zipping around everywhere. You don't have to get a golf cart, but if you do you'll have a blast. You'll want to book early - they do sell out. Parking near the wedding venue will be easier with golf carts as well.
T and T Cart Rentals and Sales
Book early if you want a golf cart. Colonial Beach is a fun golf cart today and parking will be easier near the wedding venue for golf carts.
This is our first choice for golf cart rentals. And they are open Friday, Saturday, and Sundays for bookings.
Custom Cartz at the Beach
Book a golf cart NOW if you want one! Custom Cartz has only 20 golf carts total available for our wedding weekend. You can only book on weekends during off season. Only book through this phone number (not the other number on their website, as that is in Fredericksburg and is not reliable). A golf cart for two days - Friday pickup and Sunday return - will run $216 including tax.
