Our Story
Victoria and Amanda’s story began during their freshman year of college at Nicholls State University when they had a class together. Despite spending four years at the same college and sitting just feet away from each other for an entire semester, their paths never crossed. In November 2022, Amanda began on a new chapter in her life with a job at the same company as Victoria. Little did Amanda know, this change would lead her straight to Victoria. Their connection was instant, and what started as a friendship quickly blossomed into something more.
After building an amazing friendship, there was no denying the special connection and bond that they developed and they began dating soon after in February of 2023. Since then, they have been inseparable and completing each other in every way.
Amanda pulled off the most epic surprise proposal to Victoria on June 17, 2024 right in the heart of New Orleans. Following the proposal, they enjoyed a fun photoshoot in the French Quarter, including a stop at one of their favorite spots, Lafittes, where they shared the famous purple drink.
Amanda had more surprises in store. Knowing Victoria's desire to go on a romantic Jazz Cruises on the Mississippi River, she got both sides of the family to arrive early and surprise Victoria. When Victoria and Amanda arrived at the boat and saw both of our families, Victoria was so overwhelmed with emotion that she sprinted towards them in tears. It marked the magical start of their engagement — a night filled with love and family.
Victoria and Amanda cherish the many memories they have shared since being together. They are best friends and find happiness in simply being together, no matter what they are doing. Their shared love for traveling has allowed them to visit over 8 Countries and 8 states since they have been together and they look forward to continuing their adventures. They find fulfillment in spending time with their families and friends and are obsessed with their dog, Gia - the center of their lives!
We can't wait to celebrate our love with our closest family and friends at our wedding ceremony and reception in October in the best city in the world: New Orleans!
