It was Spring 2019... Alanna and Vincenzo briefly met at a mutual friends house. He was ready to do work in their garage, but also thought it was THE "meeting" and she was oblivious to this, and didn't think much of it..... UNTIL...

A few months later for the same friends birthday on Hallowe'en night, we dragged ourselves to a bar in the market. Low and behold, there Vincenzo was, and Alanna was reminded that was "the guy" from her house months earlier... and he was looking very nice.

A brief (probably a bit lost in translation) conversation later, Vincenzo finally asked for Alanna's Facebook. After that they only wished "Happy Birthday" until finally Vincenzo asked Alanna to go out before the year's end. He would pick her up at her place, because it was the Italian way.

December 29, 2019 was their first official date, and by 2020... the world was turned upside down by the global pandemic. While some of their dates had to be "distanced" outside in the back parking lot of Alanna's apartment, she still ended up meeting the family, including Mom from Italy.

By June they had moved in to the infamous 310... which would be Alanna's last and final roommate! By August that year Vincenzo eagerly put a ring on her finger in Niagara Falls.

Wedding plans on hold for the next few years, they snuck in two amazing trips to Italy, spent time out of quarantine with family and friends, and made another big commitment in May 2022... they bought their first home!

The wedding dream is finally becoming a reality and they cannot wait to celebrate with friends and family from Canada and Italy, united together to make it official!!
