What is appropriate wedding attire?

When attending an Italian wedding as a guest, steer clear of wearing a white dress, as it is reserved for the bride. Additionally, avoid overly casual attire, as Italian weddings are typically formal affairs where guests are expected to dress their best.

Please remember that you are in the south of Italy in August, it will be very hot.

What is appropriate, or customary to gift the newlyweds at an Italian wedding?

It is customary to gift money at an Italian wedding. In addition, any gifts will be difficult for Alanna and Vincenzo to bring back home, or will incur additional shipping costs or baggage fees.
