This is a classic in Montreal, guests can walk around the Old Port of Montréal. There's so much happening in the summer, so many restaurants, shops and beautiful architecture. Near the water, there's the Grande Roue (Ferris Wheel) which offers a beautiful view of Montréal.
Visiting the viewpoint on top of Mount Royal, the mountain Montreal derives its name from, is one of the most popular free activities in the city.
To get to the top lookout point, you can Uber to the Smith House parking lot and walk five minutes up the path to the Mount Royal Chalet and Kondiaronk Belvedere.

The Mont Royal belvedere lookout HIKE/WALK begins at Peel Metro station on the Green line and takes you on a 2 kilometer (one-way) walk and climb up to the Belvédère Kondiaronk viewpoint where you will see a spectacular view of downtown Montreal.
Montreal bagels are famous and delicious!
Authentic Montreal bagels are boiled in water with honey, and as a result are sweeter than their New York counterparts. But the bigger difference is that they are cooked in wood-fired ovens, which gives them a crunchier crust and a deeper, richer crust flavor.
