Wedding Party

Annamarie Lovett
Annamarie Lovett - Matron of Honor
Anna and Vivian both attended St. Petersburg College in 2014. They met for the first time at a General Psychology study group in the bustling campus library. The group started off large, but as the afternoon wore on, it dwindled down to just Anna, Vivian, and a few other dedicated students. When the session wrapped up, Vivian suggested they continue studying at her house. However, only Anna showed up to the invitation. Seeing it as a chance to get to know each other better, Vivian proposed they take a break and walk across the street to watch the Florida sunset together. As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky with hues of orange and pink, they spent the evening chatting. They discovered a surprising amount in common, sharing stories and laughter, creating a foundation for what would become a deep friendship. After that night, their paths didn’t cross for months. Occasionally, they’d run into each other at their favorite boba shop. These chance encounters were always a joy, providing brief moments to catch up while they waited for their orders, reconnecting over shared interests and updates on their lives. Their friendship took a significant turn when they discovered they were both enrolled in Drawing 1 with the same teacher during their last semester. The intensity of the class, with its demanding projects and critiques, served as a crucible that bonded them even closer. They supported each other through the challenges, finding solace and strength in their shared experiences. From that semester onward, Anna and Vivian’s friendship solidified. They worked on several projects together, embarked on camping trips, and shared countless adventures. No matter how much time passed between their meetings, they could always pick up right where they left off. Through every challenge and triumph, they had each other’s backs, forging a bond that would last a lifetime.
Chris Bargerstock
Chris Bargerstock - Best Man
Chris and Michael have been friends for almost 20 years. Their story began in their early twenties when they were introduced through a mutual friend. They hit it off immediately, bonding over their shared interests in shooting, beer, and a love for good old-fashioned shenanigans. As time passed and their original friend group shifted and changed, Chris and Michael’s friendship remained consistent. Their friendship faced its biggest challenge when Michael learn that Chris was enlisted in the Marines. Over the years, his active deployment took him to various corners of the globe, making their friendship mostly long-distance. Despite the miles between them, they maintained regular contact through phone calls, texts, and video chats. Whether Chris was stationed in the Middle East or on a training mission in the US, he knew he could always rely on Michael for support and a taste of home. They often reminisced about their adventures together, from late-night shooting sessions at the range to countless nights spent at their favorite local bar, sharing stories and beers. Even from afar, they found ways to share new experiences, like participating in Axe throwing, brewing beer and watching the Florida Gators beat the Georgia Pups. Through the highs and lows of military life, Chris and Michael’s friendship remained a constant source of strength and normalcy. They leaned on each other through tough times and celebrated each other’s successes, no matter the distance. Their bond was a testament to the power of enduring friendship, proving that no matter where life took them, they would always have each other’s backs. When Chris retires from active duty, he plans to move back to his Georgia hometown. With a newfound freedom, he wants to learn how to scuba dive, eager to embark on underwater adventures. This new chapter in their lives promised more shared experiences, enhancing their Bro-ship even further.
