Since our wedding has a lot of moving parts, we will be using this page to send regular announcements and reminders (theknot only allows 120 chars. per message). Please check this page frequently as we will be providing more updates in the future.

10/27/2023:

Hello everyone! Just a quick update.

Due to water conditions, our rehearsal dinner location has been moved from the beach to the World Cafe (buffet location). Time remains unchanged (6:30pm).

Please confirm your transportation back to the airport with Amstar located in the lobby within 24 hours of arrival. Failure to do so may result in cancelation of your shuttle.

Hi Everyone!

This will be our last update until Cancun. Thank you and sorry for all the spam. We'll be flying in Thursday and we're super excited to see everyone. Please scroll down if you've missed any of our previous messages.

FRIENDLY REMINDERS:

1) Print or save a digital copy of the two travel documents our travel agent sent you. Confirm ALL names are correct and match your passport. Reach out to Rhonda ASAP if you are unable to find it or if there is a typo.

THIS WILL BE YOUR HOTEL TRANSPORTATION TICKET.

Please make sure you have this on-hand or Amstar (resort transportation) may not accept you as passengers.

*Confirm your departure (flight back to US) with Amstar at the resort 24H after arrival. Please ask front desk for their location, Failure to do so may result in cancellation of your transportation back to the airport.*

2) Make a digital copy of your passport and inform your credit card providers of international travel.

3) Pack all necessary medications and sun/bug sprays as they may be more expensive in Cancun.

4) Carry change (US Dollars OK. no coins) for tips. Highly recommended if you want exceptional service.

6-6:30pm: Walk Rehearsal. Location: TBD

WEDDING PARTY ONLY >> Includes flower girls/ring bearer

6:30-8pm: Dinner at the beach. Location: TBD

ALL GUESTS INVITED

Dress codes:

Men: Short sleeve button up & Khaki shorts

(Dress like you own a million dollar yatch)

Women: Sundress? (Vy said to look cute for your boo/to find a boo)

Please avoid wearing white for the event.

Oct 28th - Saturday: WEDDING DAY

5pm: Ceremony - Location: Lobby Staircase

POST CEREMONY PHOTOS (in order):

>> ALL GUESTS (please stay for a giant group photo on staircase)

>> Family photos

>> Wedding Party

6-7pm: Cocktail Hour - Location: Jacuzzi area

7-11pm: Reception - Location: Pool Terrace

>> Photo booth from 8-10pm

a. Please sign our photo canvas located near the seating chart.

b. Please upload all photos and videos you take by using the QR code located behind your name card.

Dress codes:

Wedding attire. Look fresh and sexy (May be humid so dress accordingly)

Hello everyone! We can't believe the big day is only ELEVEN days away! We are super excited to see everyone and celebrate together.

See below for quick updates and friendly reminders:

1) Print the two documents our travel agent has sent you. Confirm all names are correct and match your reservations/passport. These documents will have information regarding your Amstar ground transportation, travel insurance (if purchased), and much more. Please reach out to Rhonda ASAP if you are unable to find them or need to correct anything.

2) Rehearsal dinner will be at the beach on Friday from 6:30-8:30pm. Open to all guests. Please avoid wearing white during the event.

Location: North beach (TBD)

Menu: International buffet with open bar

Attire: Smart beach casual

06/21/2023:

Quick update! Unreserved rooms have now been returned. Vy and I are super blessed and grateful to the amount of response we've received. We are both super excited to celebrate with everyone in four months! For those who may have forgotten to reserve a room, please reach out to our travel agent to see what she can do for you.

A few reminders:

- Passports must be current to travel to Mexico.

- Please reach out to us if you have booked with a third party as we need an exact headcount for our event.

- Please reach out to our travel agent once your flights are booked to coordinate hotel transportation.

*See our wedding registry if you're unable to join us but would like to give us a small gift instead.

05/02/2023:

Hello everyone! Vy and Rommel here with another monthly update! But before that, we want to thank everyone so far who have decided to join us on our wedding day. We understand it's a big commitment so we will do our best to make sure everyone has a great time.

As of today, 38 out of 50 rooms in our block have been reserved. Certain room types are sold out but please reach out to our travel agent and see what she may be able to do for you if you are looking for a specific room.

If you have bought flights, please let our travel agent know so she can coordinate your transportation to and from the resort.

For those who have decided/will book with a third party, please reach out to us ASAP so we can add you to our wedding guest list. We do have a maximum head count so the sooner, the better.

04/01/2023:

1) Friendly reminder we are only able to hold very limited amount of rooms. Once a type of room has sold out, we can not add anymore. So please reserve the type of room you want asap. The last day to reserve a room is June 1st or until sold out. Click here for more information.

*Certain credit cards offer travel protection. Please check what your credit card may cover. The travel insurance offered by our travel agent is non-refundable once paid.

2) Please double check passports. Passports must be valid at time of entry with at least one blank page for immigration. There is currently a long turnaround time for passport application/renewal.
