This love story started approximately ten years ago through a mutual friend while attending the University of Houston.

Vy and Rommel hung out a few times on campus but love was not yet ready for them. She would soon move to pursue her nursing degree at Texas A&M Corpus Christi while he continued his studies at UT Medical Branch in Galveston.

Four years pass and acquaintances soon become strangers.

One day, Vy saw a familiar face at her local gym. However, she could not remember his name. Days would go by and she would continue to see this man. "Why does he look so familiar?!"

She decided to check Facebook only to find out they were already friends! (She said this isn't stalking). The next day Vy built up the courage to walk up to him. “Hey, aren’t you Alex’s friend?”

And the rest is history.
