Instead of commuting to work, Don decided to move to northern Virginia from Cleveland, Ohio when he became based at Washington/Dulles Airport for work. It was a large step because he was moving to a new place and didn't know many people. He didn't even know one of his roommates until the day he moved in. Wendy had moved to northern Virginia years before from the Virginia Beach, Virginia area, for work. It just so happened that two of her fellow coworker's ended up being Don's new roommates! Starting as a friendship, it quickly grew to more, as Don would cook for her in her brand new pans that she had for years :) , and Wendy had the extreme patience to teach Don how to be an adult, a battle still to this day. More than 6 years later and we've travelled to several states and countries, cruised the Caribbean, lived in separate states, and fell in love with each others families, even when Don's dad tries to kill Wendy with his driving skills :) Don and Wendy cannot wait for their future together. They will tackle the challenges together, and celebrate the victories as a team.

Sylvanside Farm Our venue is a true farm venue, with uneven terrain&nbsp;and gravel to navigate. For your comfort, the venue recommends flats, wedges, or block heels, rather than stilettos. Trust us, your feet will thank you.&nbsp;Uber and Lyft are not reliable forms of transportation&nbsp;from the venue at the conclusion of the evening. Many rides wind up being cancelled, and we'd hate for you to get stuck! We will supply some transportation to/from the hotels. Effective May 15, 2021: Governor Ralph Northam amended&nbsp;<a href="https://www.governor.virginia.gov/media/governorvirginiagov/executive-actions/EO-72-SEVENTH-AMENDED-and-Order-of-Public-Health-Emergency-Nine-Easing-of-Commonsense-Surge-Restrictions-Due-to-Novel-Coronavirus-(COVID-19).pdf" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Executive Order 72 (PDF)</a>&nbsp;easing public health restrictions and lifting the universal mask mandate to align&nbsp;<a href="https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated-guidance.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).</a>&nbsp;The key changes effective May 15, 2021 at 12:01 a.m. include:Face coverings:&nbsp;Individuals who are&nbsp;fully vaccinated&nbsp;(two weeks after the final dose of their vaccine) are no longer required to wear face coverings.&nbsp;Unvaccinated and partially vaccinated&nbsp;individuals aged 5 years and older should continue to wear face coverings in most indoor and outdoor settings in accordance with&nbsp;<a href="https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/diy-cloth-face-coverings.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">CDC recommendations.</a>Social gatherings:&nbsp;The maximum number of individuals permitted in a social gathering will increase to 100 people for indoor settings and 250 people for outdoor settings.
