Instead of commuting to work, Don decided to move to northern Virginia from Cleveland, Ohio when he became based at Washington/Dulles Airport for work. It was a large step because he was moving to a new place and didn't know many people. He didn't even know one of his roommates until the day he moved in.

Wendy had moved to northern Virginia years before from the Virginia Beach, Virginia area, for work. It just so happened that two of her fellow coworker's ended up being Don's new roommates!

Starting as a friendship, it quickly grew to more, as Don would cook for her in her brand new pans that she had for years :) , and Wendy had the extreme patience to teach Don how to be an adult, a battle still to this day.

More than 6 years later and we've travelled to several states and countries, cruised the Caribbean, lived in separate states, and fell in love with each others families, even when Don's dad tries to kill Wendy with his driving skills :)

Don and Wendy cannot wait for their future together. They will tackle the challenges together, and celebrate the victories as a team.
