Our story started back in 2020 during our senior year of high school, thanks to our wonderful grandmas, Mary Colvin and Kathy Carmichael. They set us up, and what began as a casual introduction quickly turned into something special. (Best matchmakers ever!)

When it came time for college, we both chose the University of Oklahoma and ended up in the same major—Construction Science. We’ve been side by side ever since, navigating everything from group projects and late-night study sessions to hard hats and jobsite walkthroughs. Being in the same field made it easy to support each other through it all, and we grew so much—together.

Fast forward to Thanksgiving 2024—Owen popped the question while we were in Louisiana with family, and of course, I said yes! It was such a sweet, meaningful moment, especially being surrounded by the people we love most.

After graduating in 2025, we packed up and moved to Dallas, where we both work for the same construction company. It’s been so fun (and kind of wild) going from classmates to coworkers, and we’re loving this new chapter of figuring out adult life—together.

We’re getting married in April 2026, and we couldn’t be more excited to keep building this life side by side.
