Zoey and Sarah became friends in high school, but only after Sarah forgave her for her disruptive behavior in freshman history class. Their friendship really blossomed in college when Zoey was deemed a social student at OSU visiting Sarah frequently to dance at Charlie Bear. They’ve traveled many places together, including Oregon, Italy and Germany, granting Sarah firsthand experience with the snoring that Kevin now has to endure. Zoey loves Sarah for her adventurous spirit, work hard/play hard mentality and the growth of their friendship through many phases of life.

Zoey met Jess in 2018 while serving meatballs together at a restaurant in Grandview. Jess impressed Zoey (and restaurant guests) with her ability to sing about the food she delivered to tables and her jokes on jokes on jokes. Jess is the one who suggested Zoey date Kevin at COSI beer fest, despite him making fun of her tweed blazer. Jess is still Kevin’s biggest fan. Zoey loves Jess for being an outgoing compliment queen who deeply loves the people around her and for being the funniest person she knows (except for Kevin… if he’s reading this).

Zoey and Olivia became thick as thieves at Jones Middle School when a naive teacher let them stand next to each other in choir class. They ventured the streets of Upper Arlington by bike and spent much of their time as teenage nuisances at Devon Pool, later becoming lifeguards there. They TP’ed and booked the yards of their enemies and their crushes. Proclaimed “sisters” through the serendipitous connection between their moms at the time of their births, they’ve grown through many phases of life together. Olivia later moved to Germany, where Zoey had the joy of visiting for Olivia’s castle wedding in 2019 with Dani and Sarah. Olivia visits Ohio each summer with her two boys and new baby girl. Zoey loves Olivia’s strong sense of self, ability to always make Zoey laugh and seeing her longest friend as a wonderful mother.

Zoey met Dani in 2019 when Olivia set them up to travel to Europe together for her wedding. She had a strong feeling they would click—and she was right of course. Dani shared her organized spreadsheets with Zoey, which eased her travel anxiety. They bopped around Europe for 3 weeks that summer, enjoying monastery beers in Prague, LOTS of wine and cheese in Italy, and miraculously cheers’ing their way through RutenFest the day after Olivia’s wedding with Sarah and the wedding crew. Dani and husband Jeff kept Zoey sane during the pandemic, hosting many incredible dinners. Zoey loves Dani not only for her organization and incredible hosting abilities, but also for her fun-loving spirit and unwavering support.

Kevin and Kyle have been causing trouble since middle school. They met playing basketball for the notorious basketball legend and coach Jeff Link. They were roommates on 4th street, where Zoey frequented on breaks at home from college. Kevin and Kyle spent many Friday nights blaring EDM with strobe lights... just the two of them. Kevin loves Kyle for his humor, his trustworthiness and his ability to turn up the dance floor.

Kevin and CJ have been friends since their time spent at Hastings Middle School. Specifically, Kevin remembers the first time they quoted Billy Madison together. They love hunting, fishing and drinking Busch Light at CJ’s cabin. Kevin loves CJ for being a beautiful bald man. Kevin says "fine... he's caring and compassionate and never hesitates to help out".

Kevin and Mike Harry have been friends since high school when groomsman CJ took Kevin to Mike's house for a good ole UA house party where Kevin and Mike dominated on the beer pong table all night (there's a theme here... Kevin loves people he plays beer pong with). They became instant best friends and bonded over video games and rap music. They later lived together on 14th street, where Zoey met Kevin. Now, they enjoy grabbing drinks and placing sports bets. Kevin loves Mike for his organizational skills, maturity and compassion.

Kevin and Alec became fast friends through a mutual friend’s group trip in Gatlinburg. They ended up living together for the 5 years before Zoey stole Kevin to be her roommate. Kevin and Alec enjoyed yelling at each other while gaming when they lived together, and still do over their headsets. They’ve recently enjoyed sharpening their golf skills over a case of Busch Light. Kevin and Alec share a love for Korean BBQ and the Columbus Crew. Alec is a hardworking nurse with a heart of gold. Zoey and Kevin do not support his choice to adopt a bird, but he can have one of their cats.
