I could never date Abby. – Jake Champeau Jake and I would just never work. – Abby Gee   Fast forward two years, and here you are reading those quotes on our wedding website. Turns out God had a different script in mind (and apparently, a great sense of humor).   Jake and Abby first crossed paths in September 2023 at the fall kickoff of their Bible study. What started as a solid year and a half of “just really good friends” eventually turned into the extremely shocking discovery, that maybe (just maybe) there were actual feelings involved.   Over Thanksgiving break of 2024, Jake walked into Abby’s apartment—shaky voice, racing heart, and all—to officially ask her on a date.   By December 2nd, they had their first date… and pretty much haven’t left each other’s side since.
