Welcome to the breathtaking Smoky Mountains! Whether you're seeking exhilarating mountain coasters, serene hiking trails, or delightful moonshine tastings, there's an abundance of activities to fill your weekend with joy and adventure. The surrounding towns of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are home to many of the main attractions!
Please note that, nestled in these beautiful mountains, many attractions are at least a 20-minute drive away.
Travel
Highland Manor Inn
We have a hotel block for 30 standard Twin Queen rooms blocked until June 1st. Rates are $159 per night for weekends and $149 per night on weeknights. Guests staying 3 nights or more get $15-20 off per night. Please make sure to call ahead before June 1st and book under the “Mellinger & Dow Wedding” room block.
Cabins!
This is absolutely the best way to experience the Great Smoky Mountains, especially for groups. We recommend using sites such as Airbnb or VRBO to research the perfect cabin. There are also Dogwood Cabins and Dancing Bear Lodge local to the venue.

Dress to impress! We’re asking everyone to show up in their best. Whether you’re feeling a suit, a dress, or something in between, come in anything that feels party-ready for a mountain-view celebration! Glitz and Glam encouraged.

What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will start promptly at 4pm, please plan to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to find your seat.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The wedding is at a vineyard with the ceremony taking place on grass, and the reception in an indoor/outdoor building. Please plan accordingly.
is there parking on site?
There is parking on site, but please keep in mind it will be grass and stone parking. There is also Uber and Lyft available in the area.
Are children invited?
While we love your little ones, this celebration is planned with an adult atmosphere in mind. Attendance is limited strictly to the guests listed on your invitation, including children. Please note there will be no child-specific accommodations or activities, and the evening will include loud music, late hours, and plenty of celebrating.
Can I bring a date?
Due to restrictions with our venue, we can only accommodate those who are listed on your invite. Thank you for understanding.
