1. Make sure that you have the required prerequisites:

*Passport with at least 6 months of validity from the date of arrival in India AND at least two pages for stamping by the Immigration Officer.

2. Apply online at: https://evisas.travel/india/

*You will need to submit a passport-sized photo with your application.

*Choose service type: Standard gets India eVisa within 5 business days, Emergency gets India eVisa within 3 business days, and Rush gets India eVisa within 2 business days

*Choose duration: 1 year e-Tourist Visa ($45), or 5 year e-Tourist Visa ($85)

3. On your travel date, remember to bring:

*Passport

*Printed or electronic copy of your eVisa.

*Printed or electronic copy of your return flights.

*Proof of funds is usually not needed, but a good document to have. This just means a bank statement that shows that you have sufficient funds to support your stay in India.
