Q + A
Where is the celebration?
Our wedding will be held at Fox Canyon River in Marsing, ID. Both the ceremony and reception are at this single location, so once you arrive, you can settle in and enjoy!
What time should I arrive?
We invite guests to begin arriving at 3:15 PM. Please stop by our entry table to sign in and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine before the ceremony begins.
Where should I park?
When you pull down the driveway, you will find a gravel parking lot conveniently located to the left.
How do I RSVP?
Please let us know if you can join us by visiting our website and RSVPing by July 17th.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Plus-ones were noted on our Save the Dates. Because our guest count is dependent on the venue's capacity, we ask that you please reach out to the bride directly if you have a specific question regarding an additional guest.
Are children invited?
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event unless otherwise specified on your Save the Date. We hope you enjoy the night off!
Is there a dress code?
The dress code is Cocktail Attire. For a little inspiration, please feel free to check out the photo examples on the “Dress Code” page of our website. We are excited to see everyone in their best cocktail looks; please note that shorts, denim, and ultra-casual wear aren't quite the fit for this occasion. We can’t wait to celebrate with those who can join us in dressing for the moment!
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
We are fully embracing the beauty of the Snake River in Idaho! The entire wedding will be outdoors. The ceremony is held on the grass and the reception will be on concrete, so please keep that in mind when choosing your footwear.
Is it okay to take photos?
We invite you to be fully present with us! We kindly ask for **no photography** during the ceremony, speeches, or dinner. We have a wonderful photographer capturing the day and are happy to share those professional photos with you upon request. Just a heads-up: the bride is a teacher, and she isn’t afraid to use her "teacher voice" if she sees any phones out!
What is the bar situation?
To get the party started, the first $2,000 of the bar is on us! After that, drinks will be available for purchase. We will be serving a selection of wine, champagne, beer, and canned cocktails.
What will the weather be like?
Expect a true Idaho summer! It will likely be quite warm during the day, with the high hitting later in the afternoon and cooling off beautifully once the sun goes down. We will keep an eye on the forecast and post updates here as the date gets closer.
Are you registered?
Your presence is the greatest gift of all! We have decided not to have a traditional gift registry; instead, if you feel inclined to give, a contribution toward our honeymoon fund would be deeply appreciated as we start our life together.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes! For any guests who may struggle with mobility, the venue provides a golf cart to help transport you comfortably throughout the different areas of the property.
If I have more questions, who should I reach out to?
Please text the bride at 925-200-0697. She prefers texts to calls and is in her final three weeks of teaching, so she may respond slowly—but she will get back to you.
