Alexis Dorneman - Maid of Honor, Sister of the Bride
Alexis, or Moose as my family likes to call her, is the best older sister a girl could ask for. Although we get told often that we don't look related, we certainly have that sister bond. Without Alexis discovering figure skating, I wouldn't have ever known the sport that shaped who I am as a person. We may have very different interests (she's an engineer and I barely got through college math if that tells you anything), but Alexis is, without a doubt, my built in best friend and life would be boring without her by my side. Alexis, thank you for keeping me as sane as possible and for not killing me for running over you with my bike, and my skates, as a child!
Alexis Ferraro - Bridesmaid, Childhood Best Friend of the Bride
Alexis came into my life when we were awkward middle schoolers, all thanks to our combined love of figure skating. We skated together for many years and our memories from competitions will always hold a special place in my heart. Through every big and little moment of life since then, we have been inseparable. When my family had to relocate, we never skipped a beat and now we get to plan our weddings together! I must also add that Alexis skipped her junior year homecoming to surprise me in Pennsylvania after I was told I had a tumor. I truly don't think I would have gotten through that scary weekend of waiting on scans if it wasn't for her and her mom coming to be by my side.
Lily Wright - Bridesmaid, Sorority Little of Bride
I met Lily the first day of sorority recruitment and I was so nervous the whole morning, but then Lily and I got paired up and all my nerves shifted into nerves about how my life won't be the same if she doesn't pick Alpha Gamma Delta. I texted Connor right after this round of recruitment and said "I just met the girl that I want to be my little" and I truly would have been heartbroken if Lily hadn't chosen AGD. I do not know how Lily puts up with me, but man I'm grateful she does. We have a shared love of everything from goldendoodles to country music, specifically "5 Foot 9" by Tyler Hubbard, and everything in between. I often like to tell Lily that she is legally stuck with me as if she was my real daughter, not just a sorority daughter.
Katie Quinn - Bridesmaid, Sister of the Groom
There are truly no words to describe how special Katie is to my life. When Connor told me his little sister and I were the same age, I was so excited to be able to tease him about that (and boy have we both teased him endlessly about it). From the first time I met Katie, I knew she was a fun and lively spirit that I always wanted to be around. I cannot wait to call Katie my sister in-law, and I am so blessed to have a new built in best friend for life. To know Katie is to love Katie. There is truly no one else I would rather dance inside of the Eiffel Tower with than THE Katie Quinn. From insane amounts of Just Dance to countless random FaceTimes, Katie has made the world more fun since the day she came into my life.
Emily Merlucci - Bridesmaid, Sorority Little of Bride
Emily is my voice of reason. She always knows the right thing to say in every situation and has a way of making everything better. When Emily and I first went on a "Big-Little" date to our campus Starbucks, I knew I had to do everything I could to get Emily and Lily as my twin-littles because the three of us are like long lost soul sisters. Emily is my favorite "passenger princess" and I will always cherish our car conversations. If you ever hear me say "exactly right," just know that Emily is the reason I say that LOL. Emily has heard more rants of mine than I could ever count, and I am forever grateful for our friendship and her ability to stay calm when I simply cannot. If the only reason for me joining a sorority was so that Emily could come into my life, it was worth it tenfold. Whenever I wanted to skip a sorority chapter meeting, I knew I could count on Emily wanting to skip it with me, and that is true friendship!
Brianna Russo - Bridesmaid, High School Best Friend of the Bride
Brianna was the first friend that I made at school after moving from Virginia to Pennsylvania. We instantly bonded over our love for Amazon and our various medical issues...our lists are both insanely long. We quickly went from strangers to best friends, and I wouldn't be complete without her. We have seen each other at our lowest of lows and our highest of highs and have been by each others sides every step of the way. We are truly the dynamic of every blonde needs a brunette best friend; we just like to alternate who is who to keep things interesting! It is not possible to be bored in the presence of Brianna. She is as wild as they come, but has a true heart of gold. I never really was one to have a wild side, but Brianna sure has given me the thrill of one ;) "I've always wanted to go to Idaho to lay in the potatoes"-a quote from Brianna that I used as my high school senior yearbook quote HA!
Chase Plattner - Best Man, College Best Friend and Roommate of the Groom
Chase and I first met our freshman year of college at Embry-Riddle. We both rushed Delta Chi and have been best friends ever since. We went from fraternity brothers to roommates to lifelong friends. We have both been there for each other in the best and worst times. Chase was the first person that I called after my first date with Anna and told him that I knew that she was the one for me. Whether we are playing golf, video games, fishing, on a cruise, or sitting on the balcony drinking whiskey, there is never a dull moment.
Christian Flohr - Groomsman, College Best Friend and Roommate of the Groom
Chris and I met on our first day of college as randomly selected roommates. I knew we were going to be friends when we both brought the same decor, an American flag and an aviation sectional chart from our hometown to hang on the wall. We continued to room together for the next couple of years and without Chris I would have never earned my gentleman's "D" grade in physics 1. After years of trying to convince him to rush, he finally did and quickly became the President while I was at his side as VP.
Bryan Dorneman - Groomsman, Brother of the Bride
Bryan is Anna's little brother and when I first met him he was not old enough to drive. Ever since I met him he has been passionate about sports and bonded over Philadelphia sports quickly. You can always count on him to know what's happening in any sport for any team. It's been fun watching him over the past few years and I look forward to continuing to watch him grow as he starts college this fall.
Ethan Quinn - Groomsman, Brother of the Groom, and Bunkmate
Ethan is my longest roommate. Our bunk bed still stands strong, even though Anna is not a fan of me spending this Christmas there with Ethan. It's hard to describe a lifetime of memories in just a few sentences. We have shared countless memories growing up together. More recently we have both enjoyed flying together (Ethan in the back of my B767), playing golf, and video games. He is the best little brother I could ask for.
Jon Yalcinkaya - Groomsman, College Best Friend and Roommate of the Groom
Jon and I became friends our freshman year of college. While Jon dropped his classes he had more time to have fun. Chase introduced us and we have been friends ever since. He is a memorable person to say the least, most of which cannot be public information. Our memories of being roommates and fraternity brothers are just the beginning.
Brett Krzynski - Groomsman, College Best Friend and Fraternity Brother of the Groom
Brett and I became friends on our first night of college. He lived a few doors down and we decided to get dinner together. He told me he had a car and I was sold. That night was also the same night Brett decided he wasn't going to eat meat again. He is a great chef, expect he burns steaks on Bachelor trips. Brett is a standup, genuine guy that I have been able to call a friend for years and for years to come.
Megan Connelly - Ceremony Reader
Anna met Megan her first year of college when joining her sorority. Megan was one of the new member educators and helped Anna more than she even knows. They became much closer during their last year of school in a *horrible* class that helped them not be sad about graduation. Megan is the most genuine person you can meet and we are so blessed to have her in our wedding!
Edward Robicheaux - Ceremony Reader
Edward, or as we call him Parrain, is an incredibly special person in our lives. Parrain is authentic, the life of the party, and always knows the right thing to say. Our wedding would be incomplete without Parrain having a special role. He keeps us on our toes and is always there for us no matter what. There is never a dull moment with Parrain!
Joseph Quinn - Ceremony Reader
Uncle Joey is one of the funniest people you'll ever meet. He always has an incredible story to tell and truly never fails to make you laugh. Uncle Joey is always excited to see everyone and brightens each and every room that he walks into. Having Uncle Joey read in our wedding was a no brainer and we are so excited!
