Our home and venue are right at the foot of Kokanee Glacier Provincial park. It's a gorgeous area with something for everyone. Whether you want to walk through the old growth for an hour or camp overnight and bag some peaks. But that's just the start. We're also an easy drive from Valhalla Provincial Park, and the White Grizzly and West Arm wilderness areas.
Wouldn't you know it, we live in the middle of a world-class mountain biking area! There are trails all around our property and throughout the park (Nelson North Shore).
Other classic areas around: Morning Mountain, Mountain Station, Svoboda Road, and Give-out/gold creek.

Natural hot springs (with a cave!) Make sure you book ahead of time through the website. Entry is 18$/adult
Depending on the weather, kayak and paddle board rentals may be available at Kokanee park!
There's usually something fun going on in this mini big-city.
Music, dance, theatre, galleries, markets, movie nights, ecstatic dance, yoga, sound baths, birding walks, bush raves... You name it!
If you like to catch what you eat, Kootenay lake and trout lake are good places to be. You can get your e-fishing license and there are charters available from Kootenay Wild charters and more.
Nelson is the kind of town you expect to find at the foot of a Christmas tree. Downtown is lively and full of nice eats, cute shops and galleries, and charming pubs and breweries.
