What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?
The wedding ceremony and reception will take place at Lightfoot & Wolfville Vineyards (11143 Evangeline Trail, Wolfville, NS B4P 2R1). Almost all of the property is wheelchair accessible, however, some light walking will be required to get to the ceremony location.
What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?
We'll have shuttle busses in Wolfville that will take you to the venue (only once at 5pm) and back to the pickup point (Old Orchard Inn at 10:30pm/11:30pm/12:15am). There's also limited taxi service for those of you staying in Wolfville.
Is there parking available near your wedding venue?
Yes! If you've rented a car, Lightfoot & Wolfville has a large parking lot.
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Both! Cocktail hour and the evening reception will be outside, with the evening reception in a tent. Dinner will be indoors.
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Yes! Please see the Travel page of the website for more information.
Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?
Yes! There will be a shuttle leaving from Old Orchard Inn at 5pm. (If you miss this, you'll need to take a taxi). The same shuttle will run a return service to the Old Orchard Inn at 10:30pm/11:30pm/12:15am.
What is the dress code for your wedding?
Formal wear (black tie optional)! No white!
What is the weather like in the area?
For the American folks - temperatures can swing from the 50s to the high 80s (Fahrenheit) so make sure to check the weather ahead of time and pack accordingly!
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
You'll know if you have a plus one - it'll be stated on your wedding invitation.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
As this is at a vineyard, we would like for this to be a child free wedding.
What type of food will be served at your wedding?
TBD - but please let us know if you have any food allergies/restrictions when you RSVP!
Will there be an open bar?
Duh! Please don't bring outside alcohol as we have been told Lightfoot & Wolfville will "destroy" it and we'll have to pay a fine.
Could you give me a link to your wedding registry?
It's right at the top of the page under "Registry"! That being said, while we appreciate any/all gifts, your presence is a present!

What is the wedding day itinerary?

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
5:30pm is when guests should start arriving for the 6pm ceremony.
What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?
The reception ends at 12am and the venue closes at 12:30am. After-party details currently being sorted.
Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I am in town for your wedding?
Yes! Click on "Things to Do" at the top of the page.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Yes, just not during the ceremony!
Can I post wedding photos on social media?
Sure! Don't forget the #COMMITLARSENY
