Teddy and I have known one another since we were kids in Lewisboro. He prefers that you call him Ted, but really it's either Teddy or Grand Larceny. We first met while taking chess lessons in Mondo's (Ryan) basement but, due to attending different elementary schools, didn't become close until we were teenagers. Since then, we have spent too many hours together, most of them good, many of them absurd. And somehow my parents continue to love him like a son. Although it means I now have to know about TikTok, I am equal parts thrilled and shocked that Aria has stuck around. These two make a fantastic couple and I can't wait to celebrate their marriage.

I first met Aria working at every 2010’s teenager’s favourite store and every parent’s worst nightmare: Hollister. We started off as just regular co-workers until one day Aria sent me a detailed Facebook message as to why I should not date my boyfriend at the time. At first, I was irritated that this stranger was telling me what to do and determined that she was just jealous. Later, when she was proven right for the many reasons she pointed out and more. I determined she was just a really cool girl’s girl who had my back. We then quickly became best friends, and the rest is history!

I first met Ted (at the time he went by Teddy) at Gambit chess shop in Cross River, New York. You may not know it, but Ted was a ruthless chess player in our prime - crushing opponents and sweeping his way at a championship in the club's inaugural tournament. This shared interest in chess, proved to be a surprising foundation for a strong friendship approaching 25 years!

Aria and I met in acting class. That’s the boring story. The interesting one is that she invited me over for dinner and poisoned me with undercooked crock pot potatoes so I spent most of the night in the bathroom. In case you didn’t know, once you have an IBS attack in someone’s bathroom you’re either: a) never seeing them again, or b) friends for life. Lucky for me, we’re the latter. Since then, Aria has always showed up for me, giving me all the positive “dad energy” combined with “yas queen” vibes. Now it’s my turn to be her #1 hype woman. I am so excited to celebrate her finding her person because she deserves the world.

It's wonderful to reflect on over 15 years of friendship with Ted. There has been no shortage of incredible memories: from nights hanging out in the cottage in high school, to visiting each other in college, to being roommates in New York after graduating, all the way up to the here and now. Throughout that time Ted has been a steadfast friend, always there for a fun-loving time or to help you through a tough situation. I'm honored to be a part of his wedding and to celebrate the union between Ted and Aria. You two are truly an incredible match for each other and I wish you endless years of happiness. Congratulations!

The story of aria and Rosie began in September of 2016 when they, both by fate, were assigned to the same floor at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts - and dramatic it was! Through those two years, they weathered many coming-of-age shenanigans- underage wine nights, too many theme parties, ever-changing crushes and breakups, and many viewings of Arias cult classic Treevenge. Through this all, they learned a lot about themselves and grew up- well, actually, not really. Maybe they’re still mentally 12, and when together, share a brain cell, but there’s no one on Earth Rosie would rather reach out to when things are rough- or if there’s a stupid Tiktok she thinks Aria will laugh at 🥰

I've known Ted for what feels like most of our adult lives. Growing up together at JJHS, I met Ted through our mutual friend, and best man, Joe Lee. As Facebook documents all monumental events, I figured, why not look back on our first photographed memories together? There we are, congratulating each other after an intense victory playing beer pong. Celebrating Halloween while visiting each other in college. Taking Christmas card photos in our matching outfits with James. And co-parenting our first pet as roommates in NYC. To say Ted has been one of my closest friends over the years would be an understatement, and I'm truly overwhelmed with happiness to know he's found someone as special in his life as Aria!
