Q + A

What Is The Best Way To Get Around The City?

Walking is of course the easiest and cheapest option! Prague is rather small and most of the sights can be seen on foot. If you do want to get around Uber is the way to go as it's pretty cheap and the tram system is a little confusing (especially if you don't speak the language). Just noting that a lot of streets in Prague are narrow or off limits to vehicles (especially in Old Town) so you may need to walk a block to get picked up.

What Should I Wear?

Prague is November is quite unpredictable! Temperature is usually around 50 degrees so layering is very important. Also this is around their rainy season so definitely bring a rain coat and umbrella. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best!

Money? What Is The Currency Like?

In Czechia they use the Czech Koruna (conversion is about $1 USD to 22Kr). 99% of places have card readers so don't feel like it's necessary to hit the currency exchange before. Alternatively, it is nice for tipping or for street vendors - again up to you! NOTE - We haven't had this issue with Chase, but maybe call your bank and let them know you're traveling to avoid having your card deactivated.

Valid Passport (I'm putting this in there twice!)

Some airlines require that your passport be valid for at least six months from the date of your entry or departure to or from Europe to allow boarding. If your passport doesn't meet this requirement, you may be denied boarding at your point of origin or while transferring planes, or you may be denied entry when you arrive in Europe. THIS HAPPEN TO MY MOM IN THE UK - DON'T BE LIKE RUSTY

HOW TO TEXT / CALL IN EUROPE?

You can of course use Whats App but what we do is get an international day pass via Verizon which is $10 a day. Does the trick but has limited data. Safest bet is to check with your provider and see what they can do.

What Should I Bring Aside From Clothes?

Passport - Umbrella - Power Converters - Crossbody Bag - Hand sanitizer (the Czech ones SUCK) - Advil
