FAQ

FRANCE?

We've dedicated entire tabs to the who, what, when, where, why, and how. Please take the time to read through them for any questions you may have related to hotels, transportation, etc

.

DO I NEED A VISA?

No! The deadline was pushed back to 2025. Information can be found here: https://etias.com/

.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

We are opting for a child-free wedding (including "babies in arms"). If your child is invited their name will be listed on the invite or reflected on the RSVP number. Sadly, the venue does not allow for children to be inside the castle or on the grounds unsupervised at any time. Please be mindful of our request - the venue is large and alcohol will be flowing!

If you are unable to travel without your children, the following childcare has been recommended by the venue for offsite babysitting: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100057508387281

.

ARE ANIMALS WELCOME?

We know France is far from home and you'll miss your pets, but unfortunately the venue has a strict "no animals" rule.

.

CAN WE TAKE PHOTOS ON A PHONE OR CAMERA?

We hired a photographer to capture our day and will be asking for a fully unplugged ceremony. Family and friends, we kindly ask that you refrain from all electronics until cocktail hour. We want our professional photos to be free from devices in the background.

.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

The temps will be around 65F (18C) during the day and drop to 45F (7C) in the evenings. We advise bringing a light jacket.

.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

Festive - Semi Formal to Cocktail attire

Please take note of the dress code tabs.

.

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Yes! We love the idea of traveling with a buddy. Every invite has your partner's name or "guest" on it - we just ask that no additional people join you for the actual ceremony or reception.

.
