We are lucky that the Crested Butte Farmers Market will be running Labor Day weekend! Before the wedding on Sunday, grab all kinds of goodies to remind you of your stay including: organic and certified naturally grown vegetables, fruits and herbs, pasture-raised and grass-finished meats, artisanal cheese, wine, hard ciders & juices, breads, pastries, jams, jellies, pickles, cut flowers, as well as a wide assortment of locally produced arts and crafts.
All of the foods seen at the Farmers Market have actually been produced locally (within 100 miles of town) by requirement.
Grab our literal favorite brew anywhere from this cute little license-laden stop in downtown Crested Butte. A wide variety of coffees and teas will get you your caffeine fix, along with small bites.
If you like their brew as much as us, you get a free Camp 4 ceramic mug with every purchase of 4 lbs or more of coffee. Goes without saying that Logan and Austin have a lot of these mugs!
Jacob Kochevar opened this local watering hole during Crested Butte’s 1880s mining days. While functions have shifted over the years — brothel, gaming hall, bowling alley — the old-time aesthetic has remained.
Order a drink at the old timey bar and play a game of pool or darts while you sip.
It can be hard to get acclimated to a high altitude environment like Crested Butte (or to get up after a long night of celebrating). If you are having a hard time feeling like yourself we recommend checking out Fountain!
This "fountain" of health provides IV and oxygen treatments to help you get back to your best self.
Want to horse around a bit? Hop on the back of one of Fantasy Ranch's fine steeds and enjoy the view as you ride through the beautiful backcountry around Crested Butte.
If getting wet is more your thing, book a rafting trip with Three Rivers Resort in Almont, which is just a short drive or bus ride from Crested Butte. Austin and Logan have done the Upper Taylor rafting trip, and would also recommend the Extended Upper Taylor trip if you're looking for more time on the river.
