Estes Park 18-Hole Golf Course, ranked as the sixth most beautiful golf course in the U.S. in The Golf Book of Lists, offers complete practice facilities, including a driving range, putting green, chipping area, as well as club rental, motorized golf carts, award-winning restaurant and pro-shop.
We have reserved tee times starting at 9am. Once you RSVP for the wedding you will have a chance to sign up for golf.
***UPDATED***
Due to the busy season of summer in Estes Park it has been and the increased number of people interested in hiking we have had to make a slight pivot in plans.
We found out we would not be able to stay together as a larger group and that with the timed entry it will be almost impossible to coordinate same time hikes.
SO The group hike is going to be at Hermit Park. This hiking trail is adjacent to the Rocky Mountain National Park and the views will be looking into the park and at the same mountains. The perk is that we are avoiding the chaotic crowds that is RMNP during August.
IF YOU WANT TO HIKE ROCKY MOUNTAINS, then please feel free to still do so and follow the directions at the bottom of the page that outlines how to buy tickets. They get released on July 1 and sell out fast.
HERMIT PARK
We will be hiking the Kruger Trail, which is a decently challenging trail but has options to make less difficult for those concerned about the hike.
Hike Details:
- Kruger Trail is 2 miles to the view point so a round trip of 4 miles.
- There are some views at the halfway point at 1 mile, as a shorter option
- You are able to hike in tennis shoes
- It is an increase of 1000ft in elevation so please be prepared accordingly.
- There are two other trail heads at the park that are flatter and less challenging if you want to partake in those instead.
- You are charged $10 per car as an entrance fee so please connect with everyone to carpool. You can buy the pass the morning of the hike at the park.
ITINERARY
