Very Chill Pre-Weekend Ride/Walk Hang

Thursday, September 4, 2025
5:00 PM–9:30 PM
Some of you may choose to arrive on Thursday—amazing! If you do, we’ll be around in the late afternoon and evening and would love to kick things off with a bike ride, or for some, a woods walk, and then a swim into a casual bite in town. This whole shebang will aim to start around 4:45 PM. Everyone is welcome! We’re planning to meet at 5 PM at our new house at 64 Birch Hill Road, North Conway (about 15 to 20ish from Purity Spring). We will then head 5 minutes down the road to Marshall Conservation Area. The riding at Marshall will focus on three main trails. These trails have something for everyone and are mainly flow-tech but very beginner (ish) to intermediate riding. Marshall is a beautiful spot with many trails to walk around on as well. Dogs are welcome! After the ride, we’ll head over to a spot on the Saco River for a quick swim- spot TBD. Then, we’ll grab dinner at Saco River Brewing's Taphouse in North Conway. Dinner will start around 7 PM. We have a space blocked for our group upstairs at the brewery. There is parking all around town. If you want to get there earlier, just head in and say you are with our party! We will find you! The brewery has the best of the best local beer on tap, NA options, wine, and seltzers. It serves pub fare like sandwiches, pizza, nachos, and also GF options! If you’ll be around on Thursday and want to join us, please let Caroline know by text or email at murphycaroline15@gmail.com. No official RSVP is needed—it’s a very casual hang, but letting Caroline know you're interested means you get a clue on what is actually happening...we will send a group text out the day of! Need a bike? Contact Ride the Whites or Sun & Ski for rentals. We’ll be back and hanging out at the King Pine Lodge by 9:30 PM on Thursday, and we will have a fire going out back behind the lodge for anyone looking to swap stories and hang out. Looking forward to seeing you! PS: Don't forget to grab some snacks and bevvies of your choice in town on the way to PS.

Friday Adventures and Chill

Friday, September 5, 2025
10:00 AM–2:15 PM
Do whatever you want on Friday! This can include making the trek to the wedding! This can include resort chilling, or adventure out into our home within North Conway and the larger Mount Washington Valley! Want to catch a glimpse of us? Ben and Caroline will be in the Fire Place Room of the King Pine Lodge at 10:00AM on Friday for a bit to gather interested parties. Nice out? We’ll be biking and hiking! Raining? We’ll take a soggy walk to the pool and maybe go bowling down the road... You can get to the Fire Place Room by entering the King Pine Lodge from the front or back and going downstairs towards the dirt parking lot and main chairlift! At 2PM B and C will depart and see you all at Welcome Drinks!

Welcome Party

Friday, September 5, 2025
7:00 PM–9:30 PM
Attire: Mountain Semi- Casual Nice Time-your best mountain casual. Aka jeans and your best carharts and nice button downs, chacos, summer dresses, and skirts, take a shower.
After some of you have had a fun day adventuring or at the resort (find Ben and Caroline hopefully swimming and having some resort fun before they have to leave in the afternoon). We will see everyone at the Welcome Party! The Welcome Party will be at the Cargill-Bittner house from 7:00 to 9:30 PM! RAIN OR SHINE BABY! LIVE FREE OR DIE! There will be beer and wine and other libations. Light bites will be available at this casual get-together to kick off the weekend. Shuttles will begin running from the King Pine Lodge base area at the resort starting at 6:45 PM and will continue throughout the evening, taking all who want to attend up to the house. The ride is only about 5 minutes. We kindly ask that all guests take the shuttle—parking at the house is very limited. Please let Ken Cargill and Caroline know via email if you will need to drive yourself, so we can make an alternative plan- ken.cargill@gmail.com & murphycaroline15@gmail.com. And…obviously, we love our people and their little ones, both human and four legged friends, but we kindly ask that you leave the kiddos at home during Friday and Saturday's events . If you are bringing them for a little vacation, it would be a good idea to arrange childcare or puppy care for Friday and Saturday evening/late afternoon. Caroline has a list of great babysitters that are local to the area. Turns out she knows a few young people...please contact her directly if you need help finding childcare. It is not a bad idea if prior to the Welcome Party, if you are planning to spend the day at the resort to grab some snacks and libations for your time spent relaxing by the lake. There are places like The Spot in Freedom that have all the things, food and drinks, you could want. If you want a larger meal prior, check out our list of options on the "Activities" page! We’re so excited to see you there!

Saturday Beach Breakfast

Saturday, September 6, 2025
9:00 AM–10:00 AM
Attire: Casual
From 9:00 to 10:30 AM, a light beach breakfast will be available on "The Island" across from Tradition’s Restaurant at the resort. We ask that only those guests staying at Purity Spring attend. Breakfast will include coffee, fruit, and breakfast sandwiches. If it's nice out and warm, "The Island" provides swimming, kayaking, and canoeing options! If it is a classic NH morning with some mist and rain, we will pivot to breakfast in the "Fireplace Room" in the King Pine Lodge. B and C hope to hit the beach or a walk after!

Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception

September 6, 2025
4:00 PM
Attire: Attire is formal mountain-top meets Cape Cod party vibe. We’re not the black-tie type, but we do clean up well—and we kindly ask our guests to do the same! Think: long, lightweight flowy dresses, light jackets or sweaters (it could be cool), ties and jackets for those who prefer that look... but don’t forget your signature flair as we always do! It’s formal, but not stuffy! Be sure to check the weather—this is New Hampshire, after all. It could be hot or mild.
THE BIG DAY! Our ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM. We’ll gather all our guests at the King Pine base area between 3:00 and 3:15 PM. Many of you may want to take the chairlift up—which is great! In addition to the chairlift, shuttles will be available for those who prefer a different way to get up the mountain. Cocktail hour will follow immediately after the ceremony at 4:30 PM, at the top of the mountain. Shuttles will be available to bring you back down. Dinner, some special moments, more celebrating, and plenty of dancing will take place at the base area once everyone has returned at 6:00 PM to 10PM. IF IT RAINS WE HAVE A PLAN... AS THE CAPTAIN ALWAYS SAID: SEMPER PARATUS. The ceremony will remain at 4pm and will be in The Evergreen Room of the King Pine Lodge! Our reception dinner will be family style! Dinner will include a chicken option, beef option, and vegetarian option. There will also be tasty sides and a salad. Please note on your RSVP any allergies. We also hope you will stick around for an after party surprise from 10:15-12AM in the lodge…! If you like Blink 182, REM, Chappell Roan (maybe sang by Carol) and Irish Pub Songs, this one is for you. Caroline will be bringing out her massive costume boxes... we may even have Tarot Cards. There will be Pizza & Bevraginos! It is not a bad idea prior to the Ceremony and Reception, if you are planning to spend the day at the resort to grab some snacks and libations for your day spent relaxing by the lake or wherever the day takes you.

Shuttles and Chairlift For The Weekend:

Friday Evening Shuttles:

We ask that only immediate family drive to the Welcome Party!
