We are big hikers, and our two favorite hikes on or just off the island are Ebey's Landing and Mt. Erie. There are also some incredible meandering trails in the Deception Pass State Park. If you like a good beach walk, take your pick, there are plenty!

Coupeville and Langley are sweet quintessential PNW beach towns with shops, restaurants and chances at whale watching. Be sure to walk the pier in Coupeville and visit the coffee shop on the end.

There are a handful of great wineries and breweries on the island. Our favorite is Penn Cove Brewing. The Braeburn restaurant in Langley has some great sandwiches, and the best fried chicken sandwich this side of the Cascades.

Our favorite breakfast spot is Flower House Cafe, and be sure to peruse Bayview Farm and Garden after.

Fort Casey and Fort Ebey are old military forts with lots of interesting sights and history to explore.
