Christina has known Audrey since she was literally born, as their parents are good friends. Audrey is the big sister Christina never had, and they have countless memories together - particularly from going on vacations to the Gulf Islands with their families. Audrey and Christina love eating way too much together - and once packed four loaves of bread for a weekend trip to Mayne Island...

Christina's big little sister. Not only is she taller, but also much more cool and fashionable and sometimes she would give Christina her hand me down clothes. A lot of people will say that either Christina or Kimberly look exactly like their mom, but they also universally agree that they as sisters do not look alike. So who knows how that works!

Jessica and Christina and have friends since the first day of kindergarten, when Jessica ran up to Christina while she was walking to school with her mom and yelled out "Hi I'm Jessica! Let's be friends!" As they only lived a block away from each other, they spent their childhoods chatting on the phone, playing Final Fantasy and Disney Monopoly, and taking her dog Hugo to the park. They have take very different paths since then, but Jessica always makes sure to reach out every once in a while so they catch up. And Christina is so lucky and grateful for that!

Christina and Taylor met Santana through her husband Ben! And they are so glad that they did because Santana is an amazing friend and is great at planning and organizing an awesome time. From Paint Nights to Capture the Flag to camping to One Night Ultimate Werewolf to murder mysteries, Christina and Taylor are so grateful to be part of the fun! Santana also cooks the most delicious vegan food and is responsible for Christina's insanely huge monthly vegan mac and cheese intake.

Taylor and Christina met Ben through the UBC Science Co-op program. Ben is super cheerful, open to trying new things, crazy fast and athletic, and is always a friendly face. Among many other fun things they've done together, Ben was part of several Dungeons and Dragons campaigns that Taylor DMed (and he always made the wackiest characters!), and he also created a super fun Anti-Bullying League of Legends team that kept the friends connected during the pandemic!

Taylor first met Mike playing soccer in grade-school. Taylor was good at soccer, Mike was great. They reconnected in high school in math class. Mike was good at math, Taylor was great. And thus a lasting friendship was born. They bonded over video games, very long and not very good fantasy books, and subway sandwiches. They moved to Vancouver together and were dorm roommates at UBC where Mike became progressively more nerdy about things like D&D and board games. Mike was the first person he told about dating Christina and getting engaged, and Taylor genuinely forgets if he asked Mike to be his best man or not, it was just an assumed fact.

Taylor first met Olga in graduate school. He was supposed to teach her about chemistry. Instead, she taught him to celebrate Christina, praise everything Christina does, and to go out of his way to make her life fabulous like she deserves. You could, and should, say that Olga was a huge fan of Christina during graduate school and then also got coffee with Taylor. Olga is an amazingly enthusiastic friend, a killer in animal print clothes, and a person who celebrated Taylor and Christina's relationship long before they made it official.
