Marfa in November is a wonderful experience, as the weather during this time is generally mild and comfortable. It will generally be sunny - plan ahead with hats and sunscreen for any outdoor events and activities! We recommend layering with a light sweater or jacket for evening comfort.

What is the best airport to use?

The closest major airports are in El Paso (ELP) and Midland-Odessa (MAF). Please visit the "travel" tab for additional information!

Are plus ones and children allowed?

Yes! We welcome partners and all children as long as they are included on the invitation.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly request that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We want our guests to be fully present in the moment and enjoy the experience without distractions. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the special moments, and we can’t wait to share those memories with you. Thank you for your understanding and for respecting this request and for helping us make the ceremony an intimate experience.

We love that you’re excited to share our special weekend! Feel free to post photos of the wedding weekend on social media, but we kindly ask that you do not take any photos during our ceremony. We’re excited to see your beautiful photos and can’t wait to relive the weekend with all of you!

What is Bohemian Cowboy style?

Marfa is a unique blend of rugged West Texas charm and artistic, free-spirited style—think “bohemian cowboy.” This means effortless, stylish comfort with a touch of Western flair. For the wedding and weekend festivities, guests can embrace the vibe with: • For Women: Flowy dresses, vintage-inspired pieces, ankle boots, statement jewelry, or a chic hat. • For Men: Western-style button-downs, denim or relaxed trousers, boots, bolo ties, or a classic felt hat.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Guests should plan to arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony start time.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be outdoors. There will be some shade but expect to be in the sunshine. Hats are encouraged! Please refrain from umbrellas as they may obscure the photographer.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s) for the wedding and/or prewedding events?

We will not be providing guest transportation throughout the wedding weekend. Our ceremony and reception will take place at the Bohemio which is a short drive/walk from the hotels. Ride shares (Uber + Lyft) are available in Marfa.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Yes! Please note any dietary requirements when you RSVP!

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

We will have light seasonal food and drinks during the cocktail hour, followed by a reception.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! Please bring cash to show your appreciation to the hard working bar tender/s!

Do you have a gift registry?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. While we don't have a traditional wedding registry, we would be truly grateful for contributions to our honeymoon fund. This will help us create lasting memories on our dream getaway.

Anything else we should bring for the weekend?

We’ll be providing wine and liquor for the celebrations, but if you have a favorite drink in mind, feel free to bring it along! We want everyone to have a great time and enjoy whatever makes you happiest. Cheers! We encourage guests to bring comfortable clothing for various activities (pickleball, zumba, etc). If participating in pickleball, please BYOLC (bring your own lawn chair) and paddles!
