Created by artists Elmgreen & Dragset in 2005, it is a striking, life-sized replica of a Prada store, complete with luxury goods such as shoes and handbags on display inside. However, the building is not an actual store—it’s a piece of conceptual art designed to comment on consumerism, the fashion industry, and the contrast between luxury and the vast emptiness of the surrounding desert landscape.
