We have secured a room block for the duration of the festivities at the Thunderbird Hotel.
We have also included some other options below. If none of these suggestions match your style or price point, there are a number of additional options in Marfa and Alpine (easy 20 min drive). If you'd like additional recommendations (inc. hotels, airbnbs, camping + RVs) please reach out to Nora + Jules!
A friendly reminder: Marfa, TX observes Central Time, so remember to plan accordingly and adjust your clocks! We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
We have eleven rooms reserved at this hotel (both King and Double Queen options are available). Please call to book and mention that you are guests of our wedding. Rooms must be booked by October 1st to secure the group rate.
We have reserved 8 king bed rooms ($199.75/night) and 3 double queen rooms ($208.25/night)
For a more upscale experience, we highly recommend the renovated Hotel Saint George. Its modern feel and sleek design lend to the beautiful desert views from your hotel room. Pets are welcome!
If you’d like a more traditional stay, Hotel Paisano is for you. Although not updated, it has a classic feel that reminisces the days of James Dean and Elizabeth Taylor’s stay whilst filming Giant in 1956. The gift shop does not disappoint.
Marfa is a remote West Texas town, and the closest major airports are in El Paso (ELP) and Midland-Odessa (MAF). From there, you’ll need to rent a car and enjoy a scenic drive through the desert.
• From El Paso International Airport (ELP): ~3-hour drive (190 miles) via I-10 East and US-90 East
• From Midland International Air & Space Port (MAF): ~3-hour drive (175 miles) via I-20 West and US-67 South
Both routes offer beautiful West Texas landscapes, so get ready for wide-open skies and a peaceful drive!
Antelope Lodge is located in Alpine, just 25 minutes away from Marfa. The 1950 era Antelope Lodge has eclectic rooms with wifi, air conditioning, cable TV, kitchenettes in select rooms and parking by your cottage. Walls of each cabin are solid terra cotta brick covered in plaster, so they provide a lot of privacy from the outside world. A central courtyard shaded by pines trees is enjoyed by both guests and pets alike. Porches and chairs are outside every room.
