It was love at first sight; a gravity that pulled us together, and kept us orbiting each other ever since.

This winter included Dani teaching Drake how to ski, and NOT laughing at how often he fell. We still enjoy skiing and Drake is a full-blown shred-master.

Our love for nature, adventure, and travel has always been our favorite way to spend time together. This trip, I made a video titled, "The trip when I knew she was the one". Boy was I right.

This was the first turning point and the start of the first true test of our relationship. Dani had been accepted to the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and was moving 2 hours away. We decided we were going to make long distance work. We began driving to see each other almost every weekend.

Colorado Springs was the true start of a love that would last forever. It started the merging of our friends, the most traveling and adventures (including here at Great Sand Dunes National Park) we had ever been on, and the start of planning our lives together. This was the point in our lives where we began to know what we wanted forever to look like, and how we were going to get there.

I graduated from CSU with his bachelor's degree, marking the start of my career in healthcare.

The start of 2020 was also the first Bytnar family trip we had taken together as a family. Going to remote beaches and really learning about each other.

Continuing our outdoor adventures, Dani somehow convince me to climb my first 14'er. Was it cold? Yes. Was it long? Yes Was there any air? No. Was the view at the top something to never forget? Absolutely.

Christmas of 2020 was a lot of change in our lives. All of Dani's hard work and commitment to her future had already earned her undergrad degree.

2021 signaled the start of a lot of adventures of just the two of us. With the state of the world, it was never better to be outside. I also officially learned how to ski proficiently. Including my first ever day with no falls. (A lot of wobbling though)

April 2021 was the next big pivoting point to our relationship and presented the biggest change yet. Dani had been accepted into Case Western University's PhD program, and I wasn't letting her go alone this time. In April, we flew out (with the very helpful Browne family) and were able to....tour Cleveland, sign a lease, and get me my first job at the Cleveland Clinic... in barely over 48 hours. It was a whirlwind, and the start of the current chapter of our lives.

Our first summer in Cleveland was a blast! We moved into a new place, and had a few weeks to adjust and adventure around our new city. We spent the Fourth of July watching fireworks on the end of our street in Little Italy.

At the end of summer 2021, we adopted Dali from down the street to keep Boba company while we went back to work and school. The two love each other very much.

Dani's White Coat Ceremony was in the Fall of 2021, marking the beginning of her PhD program. Of course, I was there cheering her on.

This was during the first Bytnar visit to Cleveland. We showed them around town and did some hiking in Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

The Browne family comes to visit in Cleveland! We had great family bonding, outdoor experiences, and explored a lot of Cleveland together.

Our first Cleveland Christmas party! We have certainly made many lifelong friends during our time here.

Since moving to Cleveland I have had a lot of unique experiences in my career. Almost on my birthday, I was promoted to his current position in the lab

The Brownies dropped by to do more summer adventures. We were able to take them to all of the places we had discovered since their last visit.

Our second international trip together! We had a great time in the sun with our Colorado/Indiana friends we rarely get to see.

The Social Room is a special place to us. It is our favorite place to meet people, get cheap beer, and most importantly... dominate at pool.

THE day! I proposed to Dani in Joshua Tree National Park in the company of her family. Our love of nature has always brought us together, and made this day even more special.

We were fortunate enough to get to see the Eras tour with all of our fellow swifties. We went all out with costumes and had a fan-tastic time

We finally were able to visit my grandparents at there cabin in Montana. Many irreplaceable memories were made on this trip.

We are big campers. We get outside as much as we possibly can. On this trip we discovered our favorite camping spot in Ohio and return whenever we can.

Family trip! Knocking Niagara Falls off the bucket list with Darian and Hunter was a highlight of the year!

The Family trip! Both families got together and made a trip out to Taos to see the sights and stay in some converted campers. It was a great time for both families to bond and talk about the upcoming wedding!

This was our first Cleveland Browns game! Since moving, we have become fans of the team and follow them through the season.

To commemorate the engagement we decided to freeze our butts off and get some incredible photos!

Texas road trip with the Bytnars! We had a great time touring the area, celebrating a beautiful wedding, and spending much needed quality time together.
