Heidi and Dani met when Dani was rotating in Heidi's lab (which she eventually joined). They became instant best friends and has been an absolute light in our lives.

Aidan was the first person Drake met in Cleveland and he has been his best friend ever since. He is the most humble and kind person you will ever meet.

Cheyanne is a big supporter of community and helps put together events for friends. She and her husband Aidan have bonded with Drake and Dani through many board game nights.

Chad met Dani in her undergrad lab while he was getting his masters. He and his now wife were fast friends. Chad is always willing to go above and beyond. Even if the request is ridiculous/dangerous/hilarious.

Hailey met Drake and Dani through Chad when they were at UCCS in Colorado. Hailey is now getting her PhD at Notre Dame (Very Very Smart Cookie). Every few months one of the couples drives to the other to catch up and play board games.

Darian is Drake's younger sister. She has always supported Drake throughout life and time has only made them closer.

Hunter is Drake's brother-in-law. They have gotten close since joining the family, bonding over the outdoors and hobbies. He is open to talk about anything and his impressive knowledge encompasses many different areas.

We met Joey through Dani's PhD program. He is the king of off the cuff facts, dad jokes, and fast puns. He is always a good time and good friend to have around.

Raquel was the social glue that brought a lot of the PhD friend group together. She is bubbly, selfless, and the hardest working individual we know.

Bianca is the life of any event. She is bubbly, Brazilian, and is always ready for whatever is coming next. We are so glad she is in our lives!

Eduardo is one of the most interesting people to talk with that we have ever met. He has experienced much, is married to the lovely Bianca, and we are glad we are experiencing life with him in it!

Fahad came into Drake's life through Aidan and playing board games together. Some of the hardest laughs Drake has had in years have come from Fahad's out of the blue one-liners.

We met Bia through Bianca, a fellow Brazilian. She is always incredibly kind and is the life of every party. We happy to call her a friend!
