Will I need a passport?
YES! You will need an up to date passport in order to get into Jamaica. This process is not as complex as it may seem. All you need to do is schedule an appointment at your local post office. Go to the USPS website and schedule an appointment if you are applying for the first time. You will need to bring a copy of your birth certificate and an up to date ID with you . That is it! At the post office they will take your picture, you will fill out a form and pay the amount (~$185), and that is it! From there you will get your passport in the mail in the following months. Please complete this as soon as possible to ensure plenty of time in the case that there may be issues.
How much will this trip cost?
When planning, we selected this location as it provides you the most bang for your buck! The resort stay for 2 people in the same room for 3 nights (minimum nights you can book) will be around ~$1,600. This number can fluctuate based on the room that you select, as if you choose to upgrade your stay, it will change the total price. You will also need to book your flights (which a travel agent can do for you if you would like). On average, flights range in price from $500 - 800 for economy seats with one layover per person. Again, depending on where you are flying from as well as how many layovers you select can cause prices to vary.
In total per couple it will be around $3,000 ($1,500 per person).
What does All Inclusive mean?
All inclusive means that all food and drinks are included once you get to the resort! This includes all food (breakfast. lunch, dinner, and anytime snacks) dinning at the restaurants, bar, live performances, as well as some activities such as scuba diving and water sports. It also includes round trip transportation from the airport! To learn more about what will be included in your stay visit this link: https://www.sandals.com/all-inclusive/what-is-included/
