In one place, visitors will experience the collective histories of 39 distinctive First American Nations. First Americans Museum (FAM) will share the cultural diversity, history, and contributions of the First Americans.

The 175,000 square foot museum showcases state-of-the-art exhibitions in First American history, culture, and art; live public and educational programs; a family discovery center with immersive family-friendly activities; a full-service restaurant presenting unique Native inspired cuisine; and a museum store featuring authentic one-of-a-kind hand-made items or products by premiere First American artists.

The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum is America’s premier institution of Western history, art and culture. Founded in 1955, the Museum, located in Oklahoma City, collects, preserves and exhibits an internationally renowned collection of Western art and artifacts while sponsoring dynamic educational programs to stimulate interest in the enduring legacy of the American West.

More than 10 million visitors from around the world have sought out this unique museum to gain better understanding of the West: a region and a history that permeates our national culture. The Museum features a superb collection of classic and contemporary Western art, including works by Frederic Remington and Charles M. Russell, as well as sculptor James Earle Fraser’s magnificent work, The End of the Trail. The exhibition wing houses a turn-of-the-century town and interactive history galleries that focus on the American cowboy, rodeos, Native American culture, Victorian firearms, frontier military and Western performers.

Myriad Botanical Gardens is one of Oklahoma City’s most beautiful and vibrant garden and park spaces offering visitors a 15-acre natural escape in the heart of downtown. Free and open to the public, the outdoor spaces include: ornamental gardens, a children’s garden and playground, Great Lawn, lake, an off-leash dog park, water features including splash fountains for children and walking and jogging paths

The Paseo Arts District is home to over 20 galleries and more than 80 artists, all within walking distance. Intermingled with the galleries are fabulous restaurants, a vegan donut shop, shoe and clothing boutiques, a theatre, gift shops, a yoga studio and more! The Paseo Arts District hosts a First Friday Gallery Walk every first Friday of the month, rain or shine, from 6-9pm.
