We would recommend for guests to stay in Zona Romántica (purple oval in first map below and #1 recommendation) or Conchas Chinas (star in first map below and #2 recommendation) as these will be very close to our wedding venue, which is in Conchas Chinas. With that said, staying in Conchas Chinas can get you fabulous views but is NOT very walkable, so you would need a rental car, taxi, or Uber to get around from here. Zona Romántica, on the other hand, is very safe and walkable along the beach, has a cute downtown with cobblestone streets, and connects to a boardwalk-style walkway and many bars, restaurants, markets, and other local shops. The second map below is a more detailed street view of where we typically stay when we visit Zona Romántica - with a purple outline of the downtown area we'd recommend within the following border streets - South of Aquiles Serdán, West of Route 200, and North of Francisca Rodríguez.

We always book condos, lofts, or apartments via AirBnB or VRBO where you can find amazing deals in this area for this time of year. We are also listing four hotel options below (two in Zona Romántica and two in Conchas Chinas) in case you would prefer a hotel (we have not stayed in any of these hotels, but have heard good things from others).

There are taxi or Uber options from the airport to the Zona Romántica/Conchas Chinas area. This is about a 20-30 minute drive and usually costs between $25-$35 USD. If you wish to use an Uber, you will need to cross a street bridge after you exit the airport (to your left upon walking outside) since the airport does not allow Ubers directly inside for pick-up. There is also a taxi station office directly to your right after you come outside from the airport where you can probably get the best price for a taxi (and they accept credit cards).

The wedding venue is in Conchas Chinas and will only be a 5-minute drive from Zona Romántica. We will be posting additional details for our shuttle service options and the exact venue address on the "Venue & Events" page of this website. If you don't wish to take the shuttle, then Uber is also an option and would likely be $5-$10 USD each way. Please note: venue is NOT walkable from Zona Romántica or the Conchas Chinas hotels.
