Erica and Ben were made "in the lab" having met each other working in the same horticultural sciences lab at University of Florida. Ben was a PhD candidate at the time, and Erica was finishing her undergraduate studies.

That was over 7 years ago!

Erica and Ben wanted a change of scenery after Erica graduated with her Master's from UF, so they both moved to Apex, North Carolina in December 2020.

Their engagement was in June of 2022.

Erica and Ben bought their first home in Durham, NC 2 years ago and absolutely love having a huge backyard for gardening in the middle of the city.

Erica and Ben are so excited to finally tie the knot and are particularly excited about starting their family in the near future!
