Go shopping in downtown West Jefferson- The charming downtown area is home to unique shops and boutiques.

You may want to check out Ashe County Cheese, in business since the 1930s, this cheese factory has an attached cheese shop where you can buy some cheese curds or cheddar blocks, wine, and snacks.

and the Arts District featuring 15 fun murals!

There’s an entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway, one of the most scenic national parks in the US, just outside of West Jefferson on US 421 near Deep Gap.

There are an abundance of cabin options in the area, some with mountain views and some with access to the New River. Be sure to include nearby Boone in your search if you don't mind a 25-35 minute drive to the venue!
