Transportation options are limited in Chelan. We are providing 2 vans to escort guests to and from the venue. There are 3 pickup locations where you can wait for the vans; downtown at Campbells Resort, the entrance at Wapato Point, and the entrance at The Lookout.If you are not staying at Campbells resort but are being picked up there, the hotel asks that you park off property at Safeway or the city park.Pickups will begin at 4:15pm to bring guests to the venue and will be on site from 8pm-12am to bring guests back. There is plenty of parking at the venue if you wish to drive and you can leave vehicles overnight. Please note that the vans only hold up to 7 passengers.

Our Wedding

Two things are painfully true about Jason and Evelyn, that most who are close to them will have no trouble understanding: 1)    Evelyn is no stranger to the dance floor 2)    Jason has no business on a dance floor Those two facts have nothing to do with their relationship’s origins, but it is important to mention before you show up to the wedding… The year 2016 will read in the history books, as the year that the globetrotting socialite Evelyn Clark picked up an unexpected passenger named Jason Lorentz. It is still unclear at this time whether Evelyn has been accepting bribes to be Jason’s better half, or if Jason was hired for the unfortunate role of managing the unharnessed energy of Evelyn. Regardless of which side of that story you sit, in the year 2016, two worlds collided in a not so unconventional way. TINDER Yes, you read that correctly. After 26 years of life, 4-years of college, countless parties, events, pageants, vacation trips, supportive parental advice, friendly encouragements, and failed relationships, the only logical option was a dating app. Quick sidebar for parents and the “older” crowd; “Tinder is an American geosocial networking and online dating application that allows users to anonymously swipe to like or dislike other profiles based on their photos, a small bio, and common interests. Once two users have ‘matched’, they can exchange messages – Wikipedia.com” Anyways, by all reasonable expectations, the first date went well! Jason was far less awkward than normal, and Evelyn was in an uncharacteristically generous and charitable mood, so the story goes on. We will skip over date number two, just know that it happened, and was great! Which brings us to the important part of the story. At some point in the subsequent months that followed, either Evelyn and Jason fell in love, or decided that any sane human willing to tolerate them, was worth keeping around. After four years together, three apartments, two cities, and a soon to be mini golden retriever puppy, Jason and Evelyn have decided to sign legal documents together. Undoubtedly a huge relief to both families, Jason and Evelyn are growing up, and have made the smart decision to do so with each other. In all seriousness, the happy couple would be remiss not to stress that they love each other and can’t wait to spend this special day with each one of their cherished guests.   P.S. Brian Lorentz is buying the alcohol, so if Jason and Evelyn weren’t motivation enough, consider that when deciding your RSVP status…

We’re excited for you to experience the beautiful Lake Chelan! The city of Chelan is nestled in the Cascade Mountains in central Washington, about 3.5 hours from Seattle. The best options for traveling there if you are not driving are as follows.A: Flight to Seattle + 3.5 hour scenic drive to ChelanB: Flight to Seattle + Flight to Wenatchee + 30 Minute Drive to Chelan.We understand there is a travel commitment for this wedding. We believe you will be enchanted with the awe-inspiring Washington mountains and the serene Lake Chelan setting, but we understand if the travel commitment is too large for all our invited guests.

Where should I stay in Chelan? 

As a resort community, Lake Chelan has no shortage of lodging options. With that said, a common cost-effective option is Airbnb, VRBO, or other vacation rental homes. These lodging options often offer the most space and quality for your investment. When properties are split amongst several guests, these options can typically be the most cost effective as well. (Guests are encouraged to explore "The Lookout" and "Wapato Point" areas of Chelan and Manson, for great vacation rental options.)Alternatively, any of the downtown Chelan hotels will offer easy access to our venue and the lake. These hotels have blocks available for our guests, with additional details available in the "Travel" section of this website.

Are kids welcome?

To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children attend our event. We love your kids but thought you might like a night off. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time. Adults only please!

When can I RSVP?

If you already know you can attend our event, we would appreciate it if you RSVP online as soon as possible. This will give us a better idea of guest count for planning purposes.

What should I do if I can't make it?

You will be missed! if you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", so we can plan accordingly.

Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is summer formal/cocktail attire.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding venue, LARC Hill Vineyards, offers an exceptional view of Lake Chelan from both an outdoor event space, as well as an indoor dining and reception area. Our wedding will utilize both spaces. Weather permitting, our guests should be treated to the best of both worlds. With that said, it is always safe to bring an extra layer in case the evening cools off.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! We will ensure that you are properly hydrated while you wait.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, there is plenty of free parking at the venue if you wish to drive yourself. Adult refreshments will be provided, so we would ask that you please plan responsibly if you intend to partake in the celebrations. There are limited public transportation options available in Chelan.
