Jen and Brian had their first spark February 26, 2011, the night of American University's Founder's Day Ball. Jen was wearing a big, poofy, light-green princess dress and came to Solly's to meet up with some friends. Brian was seventh-wheeling with 3 couples. The group then went to Ben's Chili Bowl and when Brian got up to order food, Jen asked her friend Richard how to impress him. He mentioned that Brian is a big video game nerd. Jen mentioned a few games and that got Brian talking. They talked all the way back to their friend's house (Brandywine) where Brian was couch-surfing.At the house, they played Mario Kart. (Jen won the most games and Brian later tried to save face by demonstrating his Starfox Skills.) A few days later, Brian came to Jen's house (Porter) for brunch. After talking more at brunch, Jen invited Brian to her brother's house in College Park to play board games. They talked and listened to music on the way. They played board games, swung on swings, and Brian let Jen nap on his shoulder on the metro ride back, giving him the nickname of Nap Guardian.Jen went to LA, spending time with Anna, Caitlin, and Melinda, and texted, gchatted, or skyped Brian every day. On St. Patrick's Day, she met up with Brian in Adams Morgan to share some blueberry beer. Brian told her "If it's okay, I like you? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ... I was telling Dan about how perfect the date... er... the night we went to Tom's house was. I didn't think I'd meet someone as cool as you here." And Jen said, "Yeah, I'm surprised how much I liked you, how soon." Then after almost a month after their first spark, they shared their first kiss. Another month went by and they made their relationship Facebook official. Since then, Brian and Jen have shared countless adventures and have fought many battles side by side. They are excited to gather with friends and family to celebrate their big day.

She is the A-LOH&nbsp;to Jenny's JLO.&nbsp;Anna lives in Pittsburgh, PA,&nbsp;works with children on the Autism Spectrum,&nbsp;and is a certified&nbsp;Yoga Instructor.

Caitlin (Spaitlin, Spaits) is Jenny's best friend and has known her since high school. They were roommates in college and shared an office while interning together at Jobs with Justice. Spaits lives in Seattle, Washington but plans to move back to the east coast very soon. She is a badass union organizer for UniteHere!

If life is a game, Tom is probably the guy running around leaving secret clues to help you figure out where&nbsp;the next piece of the map is hidden (and making sure everyone is having fun while at it). Tom also once brought enough One Rings for his whole family to throw at a volcano! What a guy!

Asra has known Jenny since Kindergarten. Asra was there for Jenny through all of the trials and tribulations of Shady Side Academy. They are both part of the first co-ed class of SSA Kindergarteners. Asra is a hockey player and lawyer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Melinda made Jen's college experience. She brought Jen into the infamous social justice "frat" called Porter. She also lived with Jen post-college in Reno House. Melinda lives with a small menagerie of animals in Washington, DC. She is a newsie (union organizer) for the NewsGuild.

Rachel counseled Jen through many, many potential missteps while living together in Porter and Reno. She is righteous, loving, and sassy. Rachel lives with Jen's close friend and financial advisor, Ethan Miller, in Washington, DC. She speaks for the trees at the Sierra Club.

Part time Bee Keeper, full time friend.&nbsp;Cowriter of the acclaimed Broadway musical "Midler of the Streep". His musical interludes sooth the ears and the soul. Loves Blackberry Schnapps.

Adam Margulies

Tea is Jen's most wise and deeply rooted friend. They were Jen's pseudo-roommate at Reno. Tea has always been there to actively listen to Jen and provides the best advice and guidance. They live in Chicago, IL and spend their days and nights teaching young people how to community organize.&nbsp;

Mary and Jen shared a wall in Porter and remained friends through Jen shorting out the power several times in the house and Jen's messy habits. Mary and Jen had an amazing picnic on the main quad at AU, no ants were allowed. She lives in Chicago, IL and works in affordable housing development.

Valerie has the distinct privilege of being Jenny's roommate in high school. She dealt with Jenny at her most angsty and taught Jenny how to be honorable and have uncompromising integrity, even in the face of teenage hormones. She lives in Columbus, Ohio and is a lawyer for Southeastern Ohio Legal Services.

Their friendship continued into D.C. where they built pillow forts, threw parties, and saw great shows to their hearts' content.&nbsp;Priyanka is the original tenured professor of Jenny's heart. She is a Director of Engineering&nbsp;in NYC.

Jen will likely try to indoctrinate him into loving Pittsburgh and its not-to-be mentioned football team. But we all know where Everett's loyalties rest.

Milwaukee has certainly had its share of visitors. The French missionaries and explorers were coming here as early as the late 1600s to trade with the Native Americans.&nbsp;





In fact, isn't "Milwaukee" an Indian name? Yes, it is. Actually, it's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land".



*Since the writing of this, Cassie moved to Appleton, where Brian originally thought she lived. By principle, he's&nbsp;not changing it back.
