First ever picture together. We had met 4 days prior. We were going on a hike to Mallard Lake together in Yellowstone National Park. This was the day Jill found out Hunter was a keeper because she dropped her phone in the snow somewhere along the multi-mile hike and didn't realize until they reached the lake. On the way back to the trailhead, Hunter miraculously found her phone in the snow along the several mile trek.

This was our first picture as an official couple in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We became official on May 10th, one week after we met. We took a long walk at midnight on the boardwalk in the geyser basin surrounding Old Faithful. When we got back to the employee dorm after our walk, we had our first kiss and never looked back.

For the next 3 months we lived in the employee dorm together in Yellowstone National Park and then we went on a month long road trip of the West together.

Us in Florida at the end of our road trip. In September 2019, we became long distance after 4 months of dating. Our summer jobs in Yellowstone had ended. Jill moved back to Chattanooga, Tennessee to finish college and Hunter moved back to Boca Raton, Florida to start college.

Over the next 2 years while we were long distance from East Tennessee to South Florida, we saw each other as much as we possibly could. (Yes, there were lots and lots and lots of flights!) This was our first time seeing each other after we had become long distance. We biked the Creeper Trail in Virginia!

Jill visiting Hunter in Florida just a few days before Covid hit. During the height of Covid we went about 2.5 months without seeing each other. We also had to spend our one year anniversary apart.

Once Covid started to calm down though we were able to see each other quite a bit over the summer of 2020. This is us in Pensacola, Florida on a trip we took there and to Mobile, Alabama in June.

In December 2020, we did yet another cross country road trip. We drove from Tennessee to Utah for a new years ski trip with some friends. This was also our first adventure in car-camping.

Back in May of 2021, Jill had graduated from college in Chattanooga and had decided to attend law school in San Diego, California. Hunter had finished his Associates Degree in Boca Raton, Florida, and was moving to Gainesville, Florida, to finish his degree at the University of Florida. This was the week before Jill's move to San Diego and Hunter's move to Gainesville. Hunter pushed Jill into a pool at her going-away party.

Hunter visited Jill in California for about a month in August of 2021. During that month, they went on a two-week long road trip of California and Oregon. This is us in Death Valley National Park, California.

Hunter and Jill didn't see each other for over 3 months during the fall of 2021 while Jill was living in California and Hunter was living in Florida. They finally got to see each other again at Thanksgiving 2021 when they both flew to Tennessee.

Jill and Hunter spent new years 2022 in Florida together.

In January 2022, Jill moved back to Tennessee from California. Now that Jill lived back in East Tennessee, and Hunter lived in North Florida, they lived the closest to each other that they ever had. During the year of 2022, they got to see each other more than they had since they lived in Yellowstone. Us in Gainesville, Florida for Easter 2022.

For our 3rd anniversary, we went on a trip to Chicago, Illinois, together. This was the first time we had ever gotten to spend our anniversary together.

Us in Providence Canyon State Park, Georgia, Summer 2022. The first half of the summer, we spent a lot of time swimming in natural springs in North Florida.

Us in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Summer 2022. The second half of the summer, we spent a lot of time hiking and chasing waterfalls in East Tennessee and Western North Carolina.

Us in Savannah, Georgia, Fall 2022. Over the fall of 2022, Jill spent a lot of time working from Hunter's apartment in Gainesville, Florida. We went back to Virginia and biked the Creeper Trail again in October. In November, we went on this trip to Savannah and Tybee Island, Georgia.

For new years 2022, Hunter and Jill went on a ski trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. This was the first time they had been back to Wyoming since they lived in Yellowstone.

They tried snowmobiling for the first time on new years eve. Hunter enjoyed it. Jill was terrified.

By this point, Jill had accepted a new job in Price, Utah. In February of 2023, Jill moved from Tennessee to Utah. Hunter and Jill were, once again, cross-country long distance. In March of 2023, Hunter visited Jill in Utah while he was on spring break.

Us in Tennessee for Jill's mom's birthday. At this point, Hunter had decided to move to Utah with Jill and continue his degree online. Hunter was traveling from Florida to Utah and was able to make the pit stop in Tennessee for this picture.

Hunter made it to Utah! Long distance was officially over! Hunter and Jill were also able to celebrate their 4 year anniversary together 2 days after Hunter arrived in Utah.

Hunter and Jill celebrated one month of long distance being over by going on a trip back to Yellowstone where they had first met.

This is a picture of them standing almost in the exact spot where they first met in front of the employee dorm they lived in while they were living in Yellowstone and falling in love.

In June of 2023, Jill's parents came out to Utah to visit them. While they were there, Hunter asked them for Jill's hand in marriage.

Hunter and Jill got engaged on June 30th, 2023, in Price, Utah. They had been together for exactly 50 months.
