The reception is in Schworm Park, at the center of the Duck Lake Peninsula. It is about 20 min from Kirkbride Hall and the entrance will be indicated by signs and balloons. Take the first left onto E Shore Dr upon entering the Peninsula.
You can find the easiest entrance by searching "DLPSA Park Path to Tennis Court Grawn MI".
You can also copy " 3829 Central Park Dr, Grawn, MI 49637, USA" into Google Maps.
Is there parking at the reception?
Yes. We ask that those driving try to carpool in order to reduce the number of cars parked on the peninsula.
There will be a shuttle available to take hotel guests from the Courtyard Marriot/Tru Hilton Hotels to the reception. See Transportation section on the Home page for more details.
(The timing of return shuttles is still being decided.)
Will bathrooms be available at the reception in the park?
Yes! There will be a restroom trailer available on site. If anyone requires special accommodations, please notify the wedding party or family as we have limited houses available nearby.
Is the bar open?
Yes! An open bar will be provided at the reception.
Please bring cash to tip our great bartenders.
Water, coffee, soft drinks, wine, and beer will also be available.
Which hotels will be blocked for the wedding?
Blocked hotel rooms available for discounted pricing include Tru Hilton, the Courtyard Marriott, and Park Place Hotel
(see the Travel section for more details).
Are Kids allowed at the wedding?
We love kids and hope they can enjoy being up north with your family. Unfortunately, due to the size and location of our wedding, we can only accommodate children in our immediate family to attend the ceremony and reception. Babes in arms are welcome, and please notify the wedding party or family regarding limited housing nearby for private breast feeding if desired. We wish we could invite everyone, but it is not feasible. Thank you for understanding.
What are the wedding colors and attire?
Wedding colors will be navy blue and gold. Attire will be business casual (meaning we don't expect black tie or tuxedos). Please dress to feel comfortable in Michigan fall weather, and remember your jackets!
